She's in Australia to judge Specsavers' search for Australia’s most stylish spec-wearer.

But all eyes were on Eva Longoria as she arrived at a breakfast for the brand on Wednesday morning in Woollahra, Sydney.

The 40-year-old Hollywood actress looked chic and sophisticated in a monochrome ensemble, which she accessoried with a pair of thick-rimmed reading glasses.

The former Desperate Housewives star covered up for the chilly morning in a pretty cream lace dress teamed with a matching black lace coat.

The diminutive beauty boosted her height with a pair of plain black pointed toe heels and she wore several rings on her fingers.

Eva lent a pop of colour to her look in the form of a slick of fuchsia lipstick and accentuated her chocolate peepers with shades of brown eye shadow.

Meanwhile, Eva was rendered speechless on Tuesday afternoon when two strangers paid her lunch bill while the actress was dining out Down Under.

The actress was enjoying a three-hour dinner date with boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston at Manta Restaurant - located on the city's picturesque Woolloomooloo Wharf - before requesting the bill.

But she was reportedly stunned upon being given the news that her meal had been paid for by two patrons.

'They were just two guys in their mid-50s in tracksuit pants looking really casual,' a restaurant employee later told the Daily Telegraph.

The wealthy actress, who co-owns popular Hollywood Boulevard restaurant Beso, later thanked her generous benefactors on Twitter.

'Thank you to whoever paid my lunch at #manta's in #Sydney! So kind of u, wish I could have said thank u in person!' she tweeted.

Her appearance at the local eatery came shortly after an interview with Kyle And Jackie 'O, during which she dismissed rumours of an engagement to boyfriend Jose - prompted by the ring she's been wearing since her arrival in Australia on Monday.

'This is just a Martin Catz band that I move hands depending on my swelling,' she said.

'I move fingers, I do, that's what happens it used to be for this finger, but I must have gained weight so I put it on this hand,' she explained.

Despite denying plans to marry, Eva spoke of her relationship to the radio stars, saying of her man, 'He's older, just being older than me is in the right direction.

'He's more mature, he's super private, that's the only reason I don't talk of him otherwise I'd talk about him all the time.'

Twice married Eva has had a famously chequered love life splitting from former husband French basketball player Tony Parker, 33, in 2011 amid rumours of affairs.

Prior to that she married fellow Young & the Restless actor Tyler Christopher, 42, from 2002 to 2004 but now ruefully says she was 'too young' to know what she was doing.

She was linked to 'N Sync's JC Chasez and Stephen Kay in 2004.

After her marriage to Parker collapsed, she was linked to Eduardo Cruz, 30, Penelope Cruz's younger brother, a romance that was briefly rekindled in 2013.
