What life as a supermodel is REALLY like: Karlie Kloss to offer an access-all-areas insight into her star-studded life as she launches YouTube channel

  • Karlie, 22, has launched channel called Klossy
  • Promises to provide insight into 'things you never got to see before'
  • Trailer goes backstage at VS show and follows her more mundane daily life

At the tender age of 22, Karlie Kloss has a dazzling career most women can only dream of.

The young star, who Forbes say has an estimated £2.55m ($4m) net worth, has a L'Oreal contract, her own cookie range, a booming catwalk CV and is even heading to college.

Clearly not content with her lot, ambitious Karlie, who is also a philanthropist and coder in her free time, has launched her own YouTube channel, too.

American supermodel Karlie Kloss has launched her own YouTube channel dubbed Klossy, which promises to provide an insight into 'things you never got to see before' from the catwalk queen's life

Nab a nude dress like Karlie

All eyes were on the Kloss sisters and their sartorial choices at the New York premiere of Paper Towns on Tuesday evening. Kimberly, left, chose a white cutout bodycon dress and black high-heeled stilettos while Karlie was conservative by comparison in this Calvin Klein Collection two-tone tank dress.

Still, we are smitten by Karlie's look. The color nude, in itself, oozes sex appeal so that's needed is a well-placed swath of white on the sides to kick this dress up a notch. We love how simple Karlie accessorized it with a pair of pointy-toed nude pumps and a ladylike necklace.

We couldn't spot this exact dress online, but click right to peruse the entire Calvin Klein Collection.

Dubbed Klossy, the new channel promises to provide an insight into 'things you never got to see before' from the catwalk queen's life - both on and off the runway.

Speaking in the trailer, the model says: 'The first 13 years of my life were just normal, well, except my height, which has never been normal.

'In 2005, I was "discovered" and things got pretty crazy pretty quickly. I'd be in second period chemistry one day, and then walking the Paris runway the next. Over the years, modelling has kept me very busy, but it's not my sole focus.

'I've spent the majority of my life in front of the camera, but not my camera,' she adds. 'And that's where this is different. I could not be more excited to share my story, and this adventure, with you.'

The teaser clip shows glamorous aspects of Karlie's life, including backstage at the Victoria's Secret show and taking to the red carpet, as well as more 'mundane' parts of her daily life, such as working out at the gym and going on hikes.

Karlie was discovered at a local benefit runway show and in 2007 she signed with Elite Model Management.

Her first modelling appearance was for Abercrombie and Fitch and in 2008 she walked 31 runways in New York Fashion Week and closed for Marc Jacob's iconic show.

Her success spanned much further than the American coasts too. She went on to walk 20 shows in Milan, 13 in Paris and was named the best model by People magazine the same year.
