Back at it: Blake Shelton, 39, performed for the first time on Friday since his divorce from Miranda Lambert
Headlining: Before cutting his set short at Wisconsin's Country Jam USA due to an incoming electrical storm, Shelton ended his headlining performance with his hit Boys 'Round Here
Headlining Friday night of the three-day festival, the 39-year-old took the stage as a summertime storm began to set in.
He appeared unfazed by the divorce as he wore a black button-down with jeans and performed with his typical liveliness.
Before the festival coordinators forced him to cut his set short due to the incoming lightning storm, Blake played his beer-swilling single, Boys ‘Round Here.
Still smiling: Shelton made his first public appearance on Wednesday since the divorce as he left rehearsals for The Voice in West Hollywood while not wearing his wedding band
Also without: Lambert, 31, was also seen without her wedding ring on Wednesday as she performed with Ashley Monroe in Nashville, Tennessee
On Wednesday, the country star returned to work as he was seen leaving rehearsals in Hollywood for the upcoming fall season of The Voice.
He wasn't wearing his wedding ring as he stepped out of the West Hollywood studio but the country singer was wearing his characteristic smile.
And later that evening, his ex-wife performed alongside Ashely Monroe in Tennessee in her first public appearance since the split as she also was seen without her ring.
Country couple: The couple were together for 10 years and married for four; here they're seen as they attend the 2014 MusiCares Person Of The Year event in Los Angeles
The country music couple finalized their divorce on Monday, July 21 after 10 years together and four years of marriage.
In a statement just hours after the settlement, the couple told US Weekly: ‘This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.’
And despite looking cheery on Wednesday’s appearance, an insider told US that Blake was feeling, ‘heartbroken, sad, and confused.’
Rumors regarding reasons behind the divorce have ranged from Blake being too committed to his job to Miranda being unfaithful.
TMZ reported that Blake's motivation for the divorce was the fact that he learned his wife had been having an affair with country singer Chris Young. (Young strenuously denied the allegations.)
But being the nature of a rumor mill, other sources say that Blake was unfaithful as well.
Still friendly: On Friday, the former couple exchanged a few friendly tweets showing that they're on good terms
Despite the tough times and the nasty rumor mill surrounding the divorce, Blake and Miranda have maintained their playful interactions via social media.
On Friday, Lambert teased her ex over silly paparazzi photos of him pushing a stroller while poking fun at pregnancy rumors on Friday.
'@blakeshelton I knew it! You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!' joked Lambert on Twitter.
Shelton wrote back: 'Ha!!!!! Busted... I wasn't JUST a fat-ass. Drinking shall now begin...'
The pair were known to tease each other during online during their relationship and it appears that this jovial nature extends beyond their annulled marriage.
