He's one of the stars of the latest National Lampoon's installment but it was Chris Hemsworth's wife who stole the spotlight on Monday night.

As the handsome 31-year-old took to the red carpet with his actress wife Elsa Pataky at the LA premiere of Vacation, all eyes were on the dazzling couple.

The 39-year-old Spanish beauty stunned in a blush lace mini dress with floral design and ribbon detail at the waist.

She teamed the cleavage-baring look it with towering stilettos in a matching hue and wore her blonde bobbed hair in beachy waves.

Thor hunk Hemsworth looked sharp in a blue suit and white shirt and sported smart cherry red shoes to finish off the stylish look.

Funny man Ed Helms - who plays Rusty Griswold in the flick - also hit the red carpet as well as his onscreen wife Christina Applegate.

Christina, 43, was sophisticated in a strapless two-piece pencil dress with neon-yellow detail.

The Anchorman beauty added inches to her height with some satin platforms and wore her hair in a feminine ponytail.

In the seventh gross-out follow-up to Chevy Chase's 1983 National Lampoon’s Vacation, Clark Griswold's son Rusty decides to take wife Debbie (Applegate) and their kids on a trip to Walley World.

Hemsworth's character Stone Crandall - a well-endowed newsreader - is married to Rusty's sister Audrey (Leslie Mann), with the family deciding to stay at the couple's home for a night.

The Aussie actor is seen with a big bouffant hairdo as he flirts up a storm with Rusty's wife in a trailer for the comedy adventure.

Vacation will hit movie theatres in the US on July 31.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth - voted People's sexiest man last year - just jetted in from the UK after filming his latest action movie, the Huntsman - a sequel to 2012's Snow White And The Huntsman, which will be released next April.

He'll also star in In The Heart Of The Sea, a flick about the sinking of a whaling ship in 1820 that's directed by Ron Howard, who the Australian actor worked with on 2013's acclaimed Rush.

Chris is currently on the silver screen as Thor in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron which, after being out a week in the US, has already taken in over $660million at the worldwide box office.

Hemsworth and Pataky married in 2010 and share three children; 16-month-old twins Sasha and Tristan and three-year-old daughter India Rose.

The family have made Byron Bay, Australia, their permanent home.
