Kevin Zegers wed his longtime love Jaime Feld two years ago, and now they're a family of four.

The 30-year-old former star of Gossip Girl and the recent Fox mini-series Gracepoint shared the news on social media that his wife had delivered twin girls.

The actor posted a picture of an EKG machine showing the babies' vital statistics, writing: '2 girls. In sync.'

Kevin's excitement in the days leading up to Monday's big announcement was evident.

Earlier in the day, the star posted a black and white picture of twin babies - one smiling happily and the other one bawling his eyes out over the message: 'You don't get lunch. She thought I was you and fed me twice.'

'Timely,' Zegers captioned the snap.

Kevin also posted a picture of his car bearing twin car seats in anticipation of his daughters' arrival, sharing: 'Car seats installed. Life has officially changed.'

A few days ago, he shared a photo of the baby clothes neatly arranged in a drawer, writing: 'Getting close.'

'The nursery's all done, I've been doing that for the past month or two,' the actor previously told Us Weekly.

'It's a good way for me to keep busy. I took a few months off of work so I can focus on baby stuff.'

Zegers said: 'My wife has been great. Once a week she wants barbecue, so we go have ribs. We have lots of olives in the house... ice cream occasionally.

'But I mean, she's so tiny. I probably put on more weight than she has while she's been pregnant.'
