She was the Queen of the Indie film scene in the 1990's.

And it looks like Parker Posey has managed to keep her looks just as fresh as they were in that era.

The 46-year-old was out in New York on Wednesday and looked far younger than her years.

Maybe her glowing skin which appeared relatively untouched by the aging process was all thanks to the boxes of vintage seltzer water she was carrying.

The actress was channeling some hot weather chic as she walked through the streets of the Big Apple.

She wore a pair of nude coloured flat lace up shoes and had a cream coloured bucket bag slung over her shoulder.

The star completed her look with a pair of oversized 70's style sunglasses which featured charcoal tinted lenses and brown frames.

Her jewellry was kept simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Parker's blonde locks could be seen underneath her hat and she wore a slick of barely there red lip gloss.

Parker first came to everyone's attention after starring in a series of independent films in the 1990's.

The diminutive star, who is the sister of Christopher Posey, has two films scheduled for 2016.

One is an as yet untitled woody Allen project and also The Brits Are Coming a movie which sees her playing Gina.

The film tells the story of a couple who flee to Los Angeles from England to try and avoid paying a gambling debt to a mobster.
