As she constantly hits the gym and is in incredible shape, it's hard to believe fans once called her the 'fat funny' Kardashian.

And though Khloe Kardashian used to take it all in stride, she recently revealed that she never really felt that way in the first place.

The 31-year-old star opened up to Complex magazine in an 'uncut' interview as she explained that she would call herself the 'fat funny one' before someone else could.

She explained: 'I never looked at myself as the fat sister. Sometimes I would beat people to the punch and say, “Oh I'm the fat, funny one,” because that's what people would say about me.

'But I never really thought that. Looking back, I do believe I was unhealthy, but at the time I really thought that that was as skinny as I was going to get.

'You know, everyone's like, "You're big boned." I have childbearing hips. You're like, "No, you could still lose some weight."'

Even during her marriage to NBA player Lamar Odom, Khloe never felt like she was overweight despite other's opinions as she said: 'When I was married or a few years ago, I never thought I was fat. I never thought I was huge.

'I was like, "I still look good, I'm just made to have curves or be a little bigger."'

Nowadays, Khloe is so body confident that she even recently hit out at critics claiming that the photos were heavily edited from her already infamous Complex shoot.

She wasted no time providing unretouched proof of her gym-toned 5ft10in figure as soon as her Complex cover story was published on Monday.

'This one is for all the troll haters out there that cannot seem to give me an ounce of credit for my daily workouts!' the 31-year-old reality star captioned a side-by-side comparison.

'The image on the left is an unretouched photo from the actual camera on the day of the shoot. The image on the right is the retouched photo. Yes skin is smooth and shadows are removed but I still think I look good on the left image. Flaws and all.'
