They tied the knot in December and Lauren Scruggs and husband Jason Kennedy could not be happier.

The 27-year-old model and blogger had a fun-filled day at the beach in Los Angeles on Sunday with her E! News presenter husband Jason, 33 and the couple were joined by a very famous friend.

Popstar Justin Bieber, 21, accompanied the couple where they enjoyed a day playing paddle ball and bodyboarding.

Lauren looked stunning in a blue bikini and denim shorts, which showed off her slim figure.

The model has bounced back after a terrible accident in which she lost her left eye and hand after walking into an airplane's spinning propeller back in December 2011.

'It was just such an incredible time in life. I felt like my career was starting. Everything was rolling really fast and then everything came to a halt,' she reflected last year while preparing to walk down the aisle on her E! show The Kennedy Wedding: Jason and Lauren Get Married.

'After the accident I wondered who would ever love me now,' Lauren recalled to E! before realising that an 'amazing man' would someday see her for herself.

'Jason is that amazing man,' Lauren said.

Lauren and Jason became engaged May 2014 and walked down the aisle later that year in December.

Meanwhile, Justin shared some pictures of himself at the beach on Sunday on his Instagram page.

And he's off: Justin also tried his hand at paddleboarding as he relaxed on Sunday

The Canadian pop star was shown holding a yellow boogie board as he stood on the shore with his back to the camera.

'Waves are out of control,' Justin wrote in the caption to his more than 34 million followers.

The outing came after Justin cheered on Team Canada on Saturday at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.

He stood by the 114-player Canadian team for their entrance into the largest sports and humanitarian event this year held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Where Are You now singer attended the event alongside his 34-year-old talent manager Scooter Braun.

Scooter first discovered Justin in 2007 when he caught his attention while performing in YouTube videos.
