They'll be facing off in the fashion stakes each week when The X Factor live shows begin.

And Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora are already giving fans a taste of things to come on the ITV show as they shared backstage selfies during filming for day two of Boot Camp.

The British singers showed off their stylish looks on Instagram within minutes of one another, looking equally glamorous in their behind-the-scenes snaps.

Cheryl, 32, cut a smart figure in a tweed blazer with black button detailing, flashing a big grin and a peace sign as she posed in a corridor.

She wore her brunette bob in loose curls and sported a liberal amount of dark kohl lining her eyes, captioning the shot, 'Day 2 #bootcamp'.

Meanwhile, Rita shared a pouty selfie of herself hanging out in between takes, clad in a Tom Ford ensemble.

The 24-year-old star was channeling old Hollywood glamour thanks to a voluminous blow-dry and nude lipstick.

'Filming in my @tomford today', Rita enthused alongside the moody picture.

The girls, who join Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and show boss Simon Cowell on the judging panel, have been enjoying every minute of the auditions so far.

However, Cheryl has been inundated by messages from concerned fans over her strikingly slender physique, with many taking to Twitter to share their concerns about her apparent weight loss.

One fan wrote, ‘Cheryl looks so skinny and I don’t like it. I hope she’s alright’, while another commented, ‘Cheryl is tooooo skinny someone give that girl a burger or something’.

Cheryl first sparked concern when she was pictured looking slimmer than ever in a black crop top and flares at the Manchester X Factor auditions earlier this month.

But after one of her followers referred to her as a 'bag of bones', the pop princess quickly hit back and revealed she was grieving the death of her father-in-law.

Meanwhile, music mogul Simon says he isn't concerned about the 32-year-old singer's shrinking frame, because she has been 'eating like a horse' in recent weeks.

He told The Sun: 'This is not someone who's trying to make herself thin. I think she did pick up a bug and I think the way she's approaching what was addressed about her weight in a very open way - by saying she is thin and trying to put on weight - I don't think she would have done that two years ago.'
