He quite possibly has the most adorable son in the world, and doting dad Josh Duhamel didn't let go of his little one when the two went for a walk on Wednesday.

The actor, 42, was spotted taking his cute son Axl, 23 months, to breakfast at the Early World Cafe in Los Angeles, making sure to keep hold of him as they went.

The blonde-haired tot looked cute in a blue sweatshirt with a cartoon scribble on the front, while his dad wore a Rolling Stones T-shirt for their morning breakfast.

Josh, who is married to singer Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, was clearly enjoying some father-son time with his little one as the two looked inseparable during the outing.

He took Axl by the hands as he lifted him down the stairs so that he didn't fall in his yellow flip flops.

Axl swung in the air has he flashed a hint of his full tummy while he had fun hanging from his famous dad's arms.

Josh, who was dressed casually for the outing, teaming his rock t-shirt with simple black trousers, kept his eyes on Axl, who appeared to wriggle and pull faces as he left the breakfast venue.

He carefully walked along the pathway in his trendy flip flops, while his dad wore a pair of black trainers.

Josh hasn't been able to resist sharing photos of his lovable son with his social media following.

He posted a snap of Axl covered in ice cream, after he was seen wearing most of his creamy dessert.

Axl, who's certainly taken after his mum Fergie in the style stakes, was pictured wearing a cap and camouflage bandana.

He looked sweet as he held onto his empty ice cream cone, after seeming like he had successfully demolished the yummy treat.

Josh's wife Fergie is currently hard at work on her new album, due for release later this year.

The pair met on the set of Josh's former show Las Vegas during a cameo by her band The Black Eyed Peas in 2004.

The pair wed in 2009 and welcomed their son Axl Jack in August 2013.

Josh revealed in a recent interview that he wants to have more children with Fergie, but after growing up with sisters admits he would rather add a second son to their brood.

'I'd love to have more children, hopefully in the next year or two.

'Having sisters taught me that I would be really happy to have another son,' he smiled.
