A look with legs: Taylor Swift flaunts her endless pins in a flippy blue mini skirt and towering heels as she steps out for lunch

If there's one thing she knows how to do well - apart from writing songs about her love life and putting on an incredible live show - it's showing off her best feature.

And Taylor Swift did it again, displaying her stunning long legs in a simple but effective outfit as she stepped out in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old superstar had been having lunch with her best friend Jaime King after meeting her new baby boy Leo Thames, and was seen emerging from the popular Sugarfish Sushi restaurant.

She made a modest style statement in a flirty, flippy and very girly cornflower blue skirt, with a short hemline and flattering high waist.

Tucked into the garment was a clean, crisp white blouse that was slightly sheer to reveal her undergarment.

However, despite the brief glimpse of her crop top underneath, it was definitely her seemingly endless and otherworldly pins that caught the eye.

Do it in a denim skirt just like Taylor Swift

She's celebrating the birth of her godson so it was only right Taylor Swift wore blue for the occasion. As she headed out for lunch with Jaime King, Taylor was looking pretty chic in her blue pleat skirt, white blouse and brown strappy sandals.

We were loving the cute high-waisted number and we were pretty convinced we'd seen it before and Fashion Finder was right - Taylor wore this cute pick back during 4th July celebrations and we can see why she favours it. High-waisted skirts are great all-rounders, perfect to team with blouses or tees and crop tops too for nights on the town as it makes for a really flattering ensemble highlighting the slimmest part of your waist.

The skirt is by Lucca Couture and although now sold out everywhere in blue, you can head direct to the website (right) and snap it up in charcoal grey.

Famed for her lithe legs, the lofty star elongated them even more with a pair of delightful tan coloured crossover-strap heels.

If she was going for an incognito exit from the popular restaurant, Taylor didn't quite manage it, while she managed a coy smile.

The striking star finished her chic and cheerful daytime look with a pale peach structured handbag swinging from her elbow, and a pair of her favourite Ray-Bans.

As ever, she added a pop of colour to her pretty face with a scarlet lip, while her short blonde locks were coiffed into neat little waves.

New mum Jaime, 36, looked beautiful herself in a nude backless summer dress with a cinched-in waistline to highlight her naturally slender frame.

Going low-key, she had her own blonde tresses scraped back into a high bun while covering her eyes with a pair of oversized, retro shades.

The actress gave birth to her second child with husband Kyle Newman on July 16 - they were already parents to their nearly two-year-old son James.

Before the girls' lunch date on Tuesday, Jaime shared a lovely snap on her Instagram page of Taylor's first meeting with Leo.

'My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss. X,' Jaime captioned the intimate photo, which was also shared by the Bad Blood hitmaker.

The image saw a beaming Taylor looking down at the sweet two-week-old boy, who she has only just had a chance to meet as she has been busy with her 1989 world tour.

Taylor also shared a cute image of Leo's tiny hand wrapped around her fingertip.

Earlier this year, Jaime revealed on Instagram that her best pal Taylor would be the Godmother of her second child.
