'I’m definitely waging war on body shamers. It doesn’t matter what size you are, there are people out there that think just because it's on social media they can tear you apart.
'I wonder what they look like? They’re not perfect, that’s for sure.'

Gemma says she started her collection to allow women to embrace their creativity with their fashion whilst also feeling confident
Gemma explains that she was proud to be apart of the recent social media campaign, #curvee, whereby plus-size women proudly showed off their curves on Instagram - but she was left shocked by some of the responses she got.
She said: ‘I put up a picture on my Instagram in support of #curvee showing girls that inspired me and the comments were vile calling them things like "obese" and "lazy". It’s not correct and it’s not fair. One of those women is a personal trainer!’
Gemma, who is the car dealer turned fashion designer that's helped transform the plus-size retail market, says she wants to empower women with her designs.
‘I started my collection to allow women to embrace their creativity with their fashion whilst also feeling confident,' she said. 'Plus-size women deserve to put on something that makes them feel like a million bucks.'
