On Thursday the 35-year-old designer took to Instagram to share a portrait of her daughter Maxwell, aged three, and son Ace, aged two, basking in the sun as they stuck their toes in the wet sand.

The Dukes Of Hazzard actress captioned the photo: 'I love these beach bums!'

It is not clear if Simpson is friends with Alba or is just a big fan of her line Honest.

Both of of the Simpson kids have blonde locks that shine brightly near the crashing blue and white waters.
