His girlfriend may be 20 years his junior, but Antonio Banderas appeared younger than his age as he enjoyed an evening out in Spain.

The 54-year-old looked to be on fine form as he and girlfriend Nicole Kimpel, 34, enjoyed the classic pop stylings of Lionel Richie at an open-air gig in Marbella on Wednesday.

Donning a backwards cap and funky silk shirt for the event, the Desperado star looked as if he was turning the fashion clocks back to Lionel's 1980s hey-day.

Antonio and Nicole have been enjoying a jet-setting journey across Europe this summer, and they continued their tour of the Hollywood star's homeland by hitting the Costa Del Sol for Lionel's date at the town's Starlite festival.

Obviously enjoying themselves immensely at the outdoor event - held in a quarry just outside of the famous coastal town - Nicole and Antonio were all-smiles as they watched the Hello singer perform.

And while there is an age gap between the couple, it appeared that A-lister Antonio was rolling back the years in his youthful get-up to match the time of the pop star's catalogue.

Teaming a pair of jeans with a silk shirt emblazoned with a jazzy, retro geometric print, the actor added a further flourish to his wardrobe by donning a grey cap backwards.

But while Antonio was certainly one of the more famous faces in the crowd, his youthful performance in the fashion stakes paled in comparison to that of Lionel's on stage.

Looking barely older than he did in decades gone by, the singer cut a suave and stylish figure as he flew about the stage in a black military jacket and jeans during his performance.

Antonio and Nicole's presence at Lionel's gig follows a series of appearances all over Europe, with the couple having popped-up at the likes of Wimbledon in London, and the 2015 Ischia Global Festival in Italy.

But while they look to be enjoying their summer sojourn immensely, it looks as though the couple are spending as much time together as they can before Antonio has to hit the promotional trail for his latest movie The 33.

Due out in November, the film tells the real-life disaster story of 33 Chilean miners who were trapped 200 stories under the ground for 69 days.
