All that sand between her toes may have been therapeutic but obviously it sure wreaked havoc on her pedicure.

Just a few days after flying back in Los Angeles, California, from a relaxing trip to Hawaii, Britney Spears was busy getting back into reality.

The 33-year-old star headed out to run errands around Westlake Village on Wednesday afternoon.

And nothing quit signals the end of a vacation like focusing on home improvements and that was exactly what the pop star was up to on Wednesday.

The Pieces Of Me signer obviously wants to focus on making her home as good as her recent holiday as she headed to Home Depot to scout out some upgrades.

Perhaps inspired by the tropical gardens of her resort, the star made a beeline for the plant section.

The star emerged empty handed perhaps inspired to put a bit more planning in first.

It was not just Britney's home getting some upgrades, after spending a week enjoying the sun and surf the star headed to a nail salon to get her nails fixed up.

Not done treating herself, Brit indulged in one of her favourite diet cheat treat, a sweet iced tea.

The star has often confessed to it being one thing she cannot give up and walked along drinking a rather large tea from Wendy's.

But the iconic star can afford to indulge here and there, as she is in great shape at the moment partly due to her Las Vegas residency and partly due to her commitment to her fitness regime even when she was away.

On Friday, the 33-year-old was snapped showing off her flexibility and strength by pulling a number of yoga moves on the beach.

Her workouts are certainly paying off, as Britney looked great on Wednesday wearing a pair of tight blue jeans with a bootleg flare and a tight white top with a peek-a-boo hole in the front and exposed back.

The star accessorised her look with a pair of wooden mule platforms, a turquoise stone pendant and lots and lots of bangles.

The star did not finish off her look as well with her hair - which currently has dip dyed ends - looking rather messy.

Britney Spears and her two boys, Jayden and Preston, had a family holiday in Hawaii.

The songstress was all smiles at the beach while her sons splashed in the ocean.

The little lady donned her fit body in a purple confetti print string bikini and some mirrored shades.

We're guessing purples her theme for the trip, since she dyed the ends of her blonde locks purple, maybe it was to match her bikini?

The bikini is cute and all but it's all about the shades this summer. Brit rocked gold mirrored Prada sunglasses and you can too.

Britney has been taking a break from her stint playing at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas where she is performing as part of her Piece of Me shows.

E! News reported on Friday that she is in talks to extend her residency but there has been no final decision made. A deal is on the table and she is considering the offer.

If she doesn't sign, the last of her 142 shows at The Axis venue will run from August through to October with the final performances over the New Year's weekend.
