Her four-year marriage to The Kills rocker Jamie Hince is alleged to be on the rocks.

And Kate Moss was pictured looking visibly distressed as she chatted animatedly on the phone outside French brasserie Côte in Highgate, north London on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old supermodel cut a forlorn figure, showcasing her wedding ring while running her hands through her hair during her brief appearance, which comes amid claims things between her and Jamie haven't been right for weeks.

The fashion muse looked stylish as ever in clashing prints, sporting a star emblazoned shirt tucked into jeans, and a skinny polka dot tie knotted around her neck.

Kate paired her look with a black blazer featuring gold button detailing and leather cowboy boots.

She attempted to keep a low profile during her important call, pacing up and down alongside the dustbins at the back of the restaurant.

Her emotional appearance comes amid allegations Kate has been lying low at her London home while trying to work on her marriage to Jamie.

The couple, who haven't been pictured together in months, are said to have had an 'explosive' row which led to a rift between them.

A few days before, Kate's husband Jamie, 46, was also still wearing his wedding ring as he enjoyed an al fresco lunch with a friend in London.

The Mirror have reported the guitarist is hoping for a quick divorce from his supermodel wife, insisting he doesn't want a cut of her estimated $26million fortune.

The paper did report however that Jamie was keen to keep his collection of vintage wines and considers them to be 'investments' like his collection of antique books.

The couple started dating in autumn 2007 after being introduced by a mutual friend, shortly after Kate ended her turbulent engagement to troubled rocker Pete Doherty.

They married at St Peter’s Church in Southrop, Gloucestershire, in 2011 with a host of other stars in attendance.

A source has told The Sun that the marriage is over, and has been in trouble for a while: 'They are properly over as a married couple. It's gone past the point of no return.'

'They accept they'll probably have to make some sort of statement but don't want to feel forced into anything.'

Meanwhile, Jamie has jetted off to the US to join his band The Kills on tour, putting the romantic dramas to one side to focus on his music.
