The Trainwreck star pays homage to Madonna in the fun spread with one image seeing the star in a plunging navy dress as she appears to be flashed by a male model.

Another shot sees the American comedienne charming two gentleman in a restaurant.

Amy has already won over fans thanks to her work on Comedy Central and her stand-up prowess so it was no surprise that the funnywoman's script for Trainwreck was strong enough to persuade Judd Apatow to direct a movie he hadn't written for the first time.

And Amy admits that she knew meeting the famous director was going to have an impact on her life as she said: ‘The first meeting with Judd was maybe four years ago.

'I left it feeling like something special happened, like it might change my life.’

The film sees Amy play the protagonist, an off-the-rails character with the same name.

Her character is a journalist at a men's magazine who isn't too keen on the idea of monogamy.

But having met Bill Hader's character, doctor Aaron, her ideas on the subject begin to change.

Judging by the early Trainwreck buzz, many more doors in Hollywood are set to open for comedy’s newest superstar.

Trainwreck enjoyed a strong debut at the US Box Office, earning over $30 million on it's opening weekend.

Trainwreck is out on August 14 and you can read the full interview in Empire magazine, which is out on newsstand from July 30.
