Embrace some lace this summer in a dress inspired by Jacqui Ainsley

Congratulations to Jacqui Ainsley and Guy Ritchie who were married yesterday.

It looks like a fabulous day and we love the festival themed setting. In fact we were expecting Jacqui to walk down the aisle in a Bohemian style gown but the model kept things traditional in a full skirted dress by Phillipa Lepley.

Lace is a classic choice for a summer wedding and this dramatic silhouette is certainly a romantic option. The low back offers a hint of skin while the layers of netting and tulle make it fit for a princess.

If you're planning a wedding and haven't quite decided on the dress (aka the most important part of the whole shebang) and you've fallen head over heels for Jacqui's gown then click (right) to take a look at Phillipa Lepley's collections now.

If you're just in the mood for a lovely lace confection, however, then take a look at our edit below. There's a bargain to be had at Asos or create some hippy vibes in 6 Shore Road's dress at Revolve.

But just who is the beautiful brunette who mended Guy's heart after his ill-fated marriage to the Queen Of Pop?

Jacqui was born in Southend, Essex, on 28 November 1981, and was raised in the town.

After leaving the local comprehensive, she enrolled on a course in accounting at the University of Essex, but during her studies she was spotted by a a scout for Premier Model Management and reportedly decided to drop out of the course when she began to book regular modelling gigs.

The pretty brunette's girl next door looks meant she was soon in demand with advertisers and she landed several big campaigns for brands including Lynx, Samsung, Sunsilk, Virgin Atlantic, ASOS, Myla Lingerie, Swissotel, Tia Lusso, and Elle Macpherson.

But the job that would change her life was when she starred in the music video for ex-Popstars contestant Darius Danesh's hit single Colourblind in 2002.

The couple didn't start dating until nine months after they met though - Darius spotted her in an airport as she was about to board a flight to Barcelona for a modelling gig.

Unable to get through the gates, he bought her a Gucci handbag and popped a Colourblind CD inside it, along with a CD Walkman that contained a CD he had written for her, then sent it down to Jacqui with a security guard.

After she returned from Barcelona they went on their first date and before long they had moved into a house in Fullham, west London, that they shared with Fame Academy runner-up Sinead Quinn.

During this time, Jacqui's modelling career soared and she landed numerous jobs, including one as as the fire woman in the opening credits for the James Bond film Die Another Day.

But after just over two years of dating, they split in 2004 because of conflicting work schedules and Jacqui's decision to move to Hong Kong for work.

More than a year later Darius did an interview with the Daily Record where he revealed he was still heartbroken.

He said: 'The truth is that I had a long-term relationship with the girl who I think is the right woman for me, but we met too young and that's why Jacqui and I split.

'But the truth is we parted on good terms. We loved each other when we broke up and that made it so painful because there was no third party involved.

'It was a very complex break up and I still adore her. But so much is going on in my life. Her life was taking a different turn as well.'

Between 2007 and 2010, Jacqui lived on her own in Essex, before meeting Guy at a friend's party.

Before long, she had moved into his Marylebone home.

She told HELLO! magazine at the time: 'It was very organic, we were spending all our time together so it made sense.

'We love to watch films, read to each other, cook together. My dad teaches film and has done for 40 years so I've really grown up in a movie household.'

She added: 'All the walls are covered in movie posters and many of the evening meals at 7.30 revolved around film discussions. So I come from a film-loving family. We definitely have that in Common.'

Things quickly got serious when Jacqui discovered she was pregnant just nine months into their romance.

They announced their engagement a few weeks before their daughter Rivka was born in November 2012.

They also have two sons, Rafael, three, and Levi, one.
