  • Gordon declared a 'person of interest' by police since girlfriend's death

Nick Gordon has reportedly begged Bobby Brown for an invite to Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral in an emotional e-mail.

Whitney Houston's daughter died on Sunday after six months in a coma and her boyfriend Gordon has been declared 'a person of interest' by police since her death.

He is alleged to have tried to buy drugs for the troubled 22-year-old on the day she was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her home in January.

In the message to Bobbi Kristina's father, seen by entertainment website TMZ, Gordon says: 'I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye.'

Copying in Bobbi Kristina's aunt Pat Houston, who is organising the funeral on Saturday, Gordon continues: 'I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance

'Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.'

Prosecutors want to charge Gordon with involuntary manslaughter over claims he tried to buy Bobbi Kristina drugs on the day she almost drowned in the bath.

Prosecutors are also reportedly speaking to Max Lomas, who was at Bobbi Kristina's home that day and is currently facing charges of two drug-related crimes not connected to her death.

In exchange for revealing exactly what happened on the day of the incident, police would offer Lomas immunity in the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina's death and probation on the drugs charges, a source revealed TMZ.

Dionne Warwick (left, on Monday) is said to be enraged by cousin Pat Houston (right, on Tuesday) who is allegedly planning a 'sweet sixteen' themed funeral for Bobbi Kristina in Georgia on Saturday

Lomas and Gordon found Bobbi Kristina face down in her bath in her home in January. Gordon has previously said the pair did drugs on the morning that she was found unresponsive.

But according to TMZ's source, police believe she had a serious problem with drugs - but he still helped her to obtain and use them.

As MailOnline exclusively revealed today Dionne Warwick is threatening to boycott Bobbi Kristina's funeral because of a bitter disagreement over plans drawn up by Pat Houston.

And while the Brown and Houston families have strived to maintain a united front following Bobbi Kristina’s death last Sunday the families are, in reality, riven by in-fighting over Pat Houston’s funeral plans, her attempts to solicit money in Bobbi Kristina’s name and what will become of Bobbi Kristina’s $20million inheritance.

According to one close source Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston's cousin, is the latest family member to be dragged into the fray.

Warwick, who oversaw Whitney’s funeral, strongly disapproves of Pat Houston’s management of Krissi’s 'sweet sixteen themed' funeral which is due to take place in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Saturday.

Speaking to MailOnline, the source said: ‘Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend the funeral because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby and not doing it on her own.’
