New pictures appear to show Jamie Hince getting close to Victoria's Secret model Jessica Stam while away from his wife of four years Kate Moss in Los Angeles.

Canadian beauty Jessica, 12 years Kate's junior at 29 and similarly a model, leaned in for a hug with the rocker and was spotted tenderly stroking his cheek outside the Kibitz Room bar in West Hollywood earlier this week following his El Rey Theatre gig, which she attended.

The 46-year-old rocker is touring the States with his band The Kills - where Jamie and Jessica were thought to have met up - just days after news that his marriage to 41-year-old Kate is over.

Tender clinch: Jessica was seen leaning into Jamie as they leaned against a wall, having chatted some time with laughter

While the split is not yet confirmed, there's been no word from camp Kate Moss or Jamie Hince. Representatives for Jamie, Kate and Jessica Stam have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

With her blonde hair, slender figure and model charisma Jessica is clearly the image of catwalk veteran Kate, just a younger model.

Jessica and Jamie were not alone when they were seen getting close, because they were joined outside the bar by Hince’s bandmate Alison Mosshart and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.

Miss Stam, one of the world’s highest-paid models, was then seen heading home alone at 2am, when the bar closed.

Meanwhile: Kate Moss was seen in London on Friday, still wearing her wedding ring on the day that pictures of the pair were first released

Hanging out: The pair are thought to have met at Jamie's The Kills gig because they were seen at the El Rey Theatre that night

An onlooker told The Sun's Rhodri Phillps: 'Jessica made straight for him and they appeared to be very close and friendly. They were very flirty with each other, very cuddly.

'Kate will be devastated to see Jamie moving on with a younger version of herself.'

Earlier she had shared a black-and-white snapshot of herself on stage with The Kills, saying '#theKills came out to play last night: @marksquires'.

She boasts a large group of celebrity friends, including Michelle Rodriguez and Nina Dobrev, who she was spotted partying with at Leonardo DiCaprio's charity bash last week.

The Mail revealed recently how Jamie and Kate appear to be leading separate lives, with rumours their marriage was in trouble.

Friends have previously suggested that Kate may have been jealous over his friendship with another woman.

Kate Moss looks loved up with Jamie Hince at McQueen event

The pair, who married in 2011, have not been pictured together since they attended a charity gala in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in May. However they have been seen in public separately recently still wearing their wedding rings.

The couple started dating in autumn 2007 after being introduced by a mutual friend, shortly after Kate ended her turbulent engagement to troubled rocker Pete Doherty.

They married at St Peter’s Church in Southrop, Gloucestershire, in 2011 with a host of other stars in attendance.

Rumours about the state of their relationship first surfaced when Jamie attended this year's Glastonbury alone: Kate is a big fan of the festival and rarely misses it.

A source has told The Sun on July 23 that the marriage is over, and has been in trouble for a while: 'They are properly over as a married couple. It's gone past the point of no return.'

The insider added: 'Jamie's just waiting for Kate to move forward with divorce proceedings. Neither are in any hurry but they both suspect there won't be a reconciliation.

'They accept they'll probably have to make some sort of statement but don't want to feel forced into anything.'

Split: Friends have previously suggested Miss Moss may have been jealous over Hince’s friendship with another woman.

Jessica, who is represented by IMG models, made Forbes' World's 15 Top-Earning models list in 2007, making an estimate $1.5million in 12 months thanks to her lucrative high fashion campaigns. In 2012, Kate came second on the top-earning models list, with estimated earnings of $9.2 million in one year.

Kate meanwhile, is signed to Storm Models and has been one of the industry's biggest players since the 1990s.

Victoria's Secret's Jessica was scouted at an amusement park and signed by a local agency while Kate was scouted at the tender age of JFK Airport, and has been with her modelling agency ever since.

She and Jessica walked the same runway in 2011, walking the Louis Vuitton Fall show at Paris Fashion Week, though it's not known whether the models know each other as friends.
