They've been dating for almost five months.

And it looks like things are only getting more serious between Jude Law and his girlfriend Philippa Coan as the two were pictured enjoying a romantic holiday to France on Friday.

Revelling in some alone time, the loved-up duo were seen donning casual ensembles as they attempted to blend in with the locals of sleepy French village Le Puy-Notre-Dame.

Their jaunt to the town, which is located to the west of the country, saw the couple feast their eyes upon a vintage car race.

Showcasing her natural beauty, Philippa went make-up free for their day out and swept her long blonde locks away from her face and into a ponytail.

Opting for an equally relaxed clothing style, the 29-year-old, who is a doctor of psychology, wore a slouchy pink T-shirt, which she teamed with turn-up grey jeans, a striped knitted cardigan and gold T-bar sandals.

Jude sported his typically edgy style in a pair of off-white jeans, a grey T-shirt and a denim jacket.

Injecting a pop of colour into the otherwise low-key look, he wore a pair of yellow Vans on his feet, which looked like they had seen better days.

It's believed the couple met after being introduced through mutual friends and Jude is already head over heels for the smart blonde.

According to The Mail on Sunday, the Alfie star is so taken with Phillipa that friends say he's told them it's serious and that he's determined not to 'mess it up' this time.

Classic cars: The race goes by the name of Le Grand Prix Retro and features a host of stunning vintage vehicles

Sources also claimed that Phillipa accompanied Jude on a trip to Rome earlier this year, where he was said to be in pre-production talks to play the Pope in a new TV series called The Young Pope.

'Even though it's early days, Jude has already introduced Phillipa to the family, and even Sadie,' says a source. 'He's serious about her. He loves how intelligent Pippa is and finds it refreshing to date a girl who is not from his showbiz world.

'He's pretty smitten and doesn't want to mess it up.'

Jude was previously married to Sadie Frost, with whom he shares three children Rafferty, 19, Iris, 15, and Rudy, 13, however the two broke off their six-year marriage in 2003.

In 2009, Samantha Burke gave birth to his fourth child, Sophia.

In March this year, 23-year-old singer Catherine Harding, who also goes by the name of Cat Cavelli, welcomed Jude's fifth child, a little girl named Ava.
