From starring on the West End to taking in some tennis at Wimbledon, it's been a fun few weeks for Cressida Bonas.

But the rising star took a break from her busy schedule to enjoy some downtime in London, enjoying a lunch date with her mother and trip to the hairdressers on Thursday.

The 26-year-old actress looked casually chic as she walked through the streets of Chelsea wearing a black and white tuxedo jacket, distressed jeans, a pale pink shirt and pumps.

Cressida, who carried a black fringed tote, has made the pared-back style her signature.

The Mulberry model was seen leaving swanky eatery, The Ivy Chelsea Garden, which is described as a 'casual British restaurant serving an extensive all-day menu of food and cocktails.

'The restaurant, bar and café inside have an aura of approachable sophistication and familiar luxury; outside is an extensive garden, complete with a terrace and orangery,' reads the website.

Following on from lunch with her mother, Mary-Gaye Curzon, Cressida popped by Hari's Salon - a celebrity favourite on the King's Road.

Rip up the rule book in Cressida's J Brand jeans

Keeping things casual, Cressida Bonas was spotted out and about in London with her mom wearing gray skinny jeans teamed with a white shirt and monochrome blazer. Cressida then completed her look with a pair of Superga trainers and a fringed handbag.

Ripped skinnies have been doing the rounds for a couple of seasons now, but gray is a fresh alternative to the ubiquitous blue or black. What’s more, the lighter hue is perfect for summer and looks great teamed with white for a fresh look.

Lady Mary-Gaye, who showered her daughter with hugs as they met in the street, is just about as blue-blooded as you can get.

Her late father, Edward Curzon, was the 6th Earl Howe, godson of King Edward VII, a World War II naval officer and later a conservative politician. Her mother, Grace Wakeling, was the daughter of a British colonialist in South Africa.

Lady Mary-Gaye was one of the most glamorous debutantes of her day and a blue-coloured cocktail - because of her blue-blooded credentials - called The Curzon was even invented at Claridge’s in her honour.

Lady Mary-Gaye was well-known for her four marriages and four divorces.

Today, Lady Mary-Gaye is an archetypal Chelsea lady and a keen charity fundraiser known for her Sloaney style, impeccable manners and charming personality.

Her friends say that she still throws 'the most fabulous parties - always has and always will' and say that she is 'extremely well-liked in society.'

Cressida hasn't been seen out in public since she put on a rather affectionate display with Edward Holcroft at Wimbledon.

The 26-year-old aspiring actress was pictured giggling and clasping her hands in front of her face as her new beau whispered into her ear.

It was the second time that week that the acting couple had been spotted together, having been snapped leaving Le Caprice in London's Mayfair in the back of a cab the same week.

Like Cressida, who won acclaim for her performance in An Evening With Lucian Freud, Mr Holcroft, 26, is no stranger to acting success.

Currently filming a new version of Lady Chatterley's Lover, the actor is most famous for his role in BBC2 drama Wolf Hall in which he played George Boleyn.

Other roles include a part in mini-series London Eye and another in spoof spy film Kingsman, which starred Colin Firth.

The chemistry between the pair was apparent and they struggled to keep their eyes on the semi-final match between Novak Djokovic vs. Richard Gasquet.
