Kaitlyn Bristowe may have accepted fiance Shawn Booth's marriage proposal, but she was spotted in another man's arms on Monday.

It was all in good fun as the 29-year-old Bachelorette alum and actor Owen Wilson 'made out' during an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.

The 46-year-old single star was introduced by the late night host and was caught sharing some faux PDA with the newly engaged reality star, before promoting his new film No Escape.

Kaitlyn and Owen surprised Kimmel with a practical joke by seemingly showcasing some romantic affections for one another before the father-of-two was welcomed onto the talk show couch.

The pair were caught up in the moment with their arms wrapped around each other. The ABC emcee tapped Owen on the shoulder to separate the two as Kaitlyn playing along and blushing with shock and smiles.

'Well, that was uncomfortable! There you are making out with the Bachelorette!' Jimmy said. 'Who would have ever guessed that one?'

Owen continued to go along with the playful banter: 'No, no, no. We were just saying hello. I was just in Europe, and in Europe you sort of kiss people on the cheek and then once on the mouth.'

He recently returned from Italy after shooting scenes for the upcoming Zoolander sequel with Ben Stiller and Penelope Cruz.

'Oh, it's a European thing you were doing,' Jimmy added as Owen continued to tease: 'You're so American, Jimmy! Come on, you're puritanical.'

While Owen was on hand to promote his latest movie No Escape, Kaitlyn and fiance Shawn celebrated their engagement after the season finale of The Bachelorette aired that same night.

During the last episode, she had picked Shawn over Nick Viall, who was also the runner-up for Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's season in 2014.

Kaitlyn and Shawn can finally embrace their romance publicly and have been appearing on several talk shows since the announcement of their engagement.

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, the twosome revealed they were simply excited to be engaged and seemed to have not given thought to the date of their wedding.

The former personal trainer insisted they were looking forward to reveling in their new public romance.

'Right now we're just so excited to finally be able to hang out and do things in public, but more importantly we just want to spend some time with our friends and family first,' Shawn revealed.

She reiterated that you won’t find her looking at wedding dresses just yet.

'We're really excited to be engaged and be cute,' Kaitlyn said. 'It makes little things more exciting now, to be out in public and just go get coffee, and that fun stuff.'
