But Rihanna was dripping with gold in a saucy new photograph showing her relaxing in a barely-there bikini top on a sunlounger in her native Barbados.

She posted the image on her Instagram account on Friday, and it was not long before it had generated thousands of likes.

While she teasingly captioned the image simply, 'errthang,' the Charlie by Matthew Zink official Instagram page revealed she was wearing one of the firm's yellow grecian coin bikinis as she enjoyed the charming locales of her native island.

While she is no doubt coining it from her litany of endorsements, it seems the Barbadian beauty still likes to splash the cash.

Spotted on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, Rihanna kept things simple in a black twist front maxi dress teamed with white trainers, a baseball cap and a pretty pink Dior handbag.

As the face of the new Dior campaign which champions the so called “Diorama” it-bag, Rihanna’s a true brand ambassador and often carries various versions of this luxe piece of arm candy when she’s out and about.
