As one of Hollywood's most glamorous stars Halle Berry is no stranger to dressing for the red carpet.
But the mother-of-two showcased the casual side of her wardrobe when she enjoyed a shopping trip with her 21-month-old son Maceo on Thursday.
She was seen laughing and smiling as she arrived hand-in-hand with her son at Westfield Mall in Los Angeles.

Halle looked effortlessly stylish in baggy silver harem pants and a black vest which showed a hint of a black lacy bra.
She completed her look with silver flip-flops, gold rings and layered necklaces.
The X-Men actress, whose pixie hairstyle has now given way to luxurious shoulder-length waves, also sported designer sunglasses for the play date with her son.
Doting mother Halle looked completely smitten with her son from her marriage to Olivier Martinez.

He wore a red T-shirt with an image of a cartoon dog, denim shorts and trainers.
Halle, who also has a seven-year-old daughter Nahla with Gabriel Aubrey, was seen taking out the rubbish outside her home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
She is currently starring as astronaut Molly Woods in new sci-fi show Extant.
And despite being an Oscar-winning actress, Halle admitted in an interview with The Sun that she was terrified of starring in her first TV in years.
'The best things in my opinion are on television now. So I'm lucky to get to be on TV actually.

Halle, who's famous for her roles in X-Men, and Mother's Ball, for which she won the Best Actress Oscar in 2002, reveals that playing astronaut Molly has been the hardest part of her career.
'It is a whole lot of work. I mean, I've never worked so hard in my life.
'I was nursing, my baby was just three months old when we started, so I was doing drive-by nursings every two hours and I was over my head - the amount of scenes we shoot in a day, the things I had to memorise.'
