Who wants to be in Guy’s gang? As Brad Pitt and David Beckham leave their famous wives at home, how the Ritchie wedding revealed director as king of the bromance

  • Guest list featured leading men from lots of Guy Ritchie's films including Brad Pitt, Jason Statham, Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer
  • Beckham and Pitt wore matching cream suits
  • Instagram snaps show the male guests mingling and supping champagne
  • Director treated guests to a clip of his new film starring pal David Beckham
  • Best pal David uploaded message wishing his friend an amazing day

A wedding day is often said to be all about the bride, and while Jaqui Ainsley, 33, certainly stole the show as a fairy tale festival bride on Thursday, groom Guy Ritchie's superstar guest list ensured that he had a blast on his big day too.

The director, 44, is well known for being a fan of a knees-up - his stag do was a well-oiled wine-tasting trip to the south of France - and what better excuse than his (second) wedding to get all of his best mates together!

While the lady guests looked lovely floating around the Wiltshire estate gardens in maxi dresses, this party was really all about the boys, many of them super famous faces, who were soon getting stuck into the bar and uploading selfies of themselves having a great old time.

The groom's long-term friends Brad Pitt, 51, and David Beckham, 40, who dressed in matching cream suits, even chose to attend without their famous wives Angelina Jolie, 40, who is currently on a charity mission to Burma, and Victoria Beckham, 41, who was seen hitting the gym in LA today - presumably so they could enjoy the party to its fullest.

Director Guy has a tendency to strike up lasting friendships with his leading men due to his intense methods on set.

Guy and Brad, who is pictured in several selfies from the wedding looking dapper in the two-piece and retro specs, have been friends for over 15 years since working together on Brit flick Snatch in 2000.

Jason Statham, 48, was another old friend from the film industry at the country bash. having worked with Guy in the gangster film Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels as well as the more recent Revolver, where he played a gambler with demons.

Handsome Henry Cavill, 32, and Luca Calvani, 40, stars of one of Ritchie's more recent films Man from U.N.C.L.E, were also following the garden party dress code, dressed for summer in similar slim fit cream suits as David and Brad.

And co-star Armie Hammer, 28, was also along for the ride, seen wearing a salmon pink suit and graphic tie.
