New audio tape shows Hulk Hogan making MORE racially-charged remarks (this time, to son Nick via jailhouse phone)

  • New recording shows wrestling legend Hulk Hogan speaking to his then-imprisoned son, Nick Bollea, over a Florida jailhouse phone in May 2008
  • He tells his 17-year-old son: 'You and me been sitting on some serious phone, phone dialogue here n***a'; to which Nick replies: 'Yeah, nibb-ah'
  • Hulk, now 61, continues: 'N***a, n***a, that means you are my best friend'
  • Audio was released in May 2008 by Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and reemerged this week; contents have never been heard by public before
  • It comes just days after Hulk was sacked by the WWE after another tape was leaked showing him launch N-word rant about his daughter's sex life

Hulk Hogan was unceremoniously sacked by the WWE last week after an audio tape emerged showing him complaining about his daughter sleeping with a black man, ranting 'f****** n*****'.

Now, another recording has surfaced featuring the wrestling legend making racially-charged remarks to his then-imprisoned son, Nick Bollea, over a Florida jailhouse phone in May 2008.

In the latest tape, Hogan apparently tells his then-17-year-old son: 'You and me been sitting on some serious phone, phone dialogue here n***a', to which Bollea replies: 'Yeah, nibb-ah.'

Hogan subsequently notes that his use of the slur means that Bollea is his 'best friend'. 'N***a, n***a, that means, that means you (are) my best friend,' he appears to say in the recording.

The wrestler, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, continues: 'You know that God gave you this vibe and this, this, energy that you and I are going to live forever, bro. I just hope we don't come back as a couple. I don't want to say it, blizz-ack gizz-uys, you know what I'm saying?'

'Brutal,' Bollea replies, prompting them both to laugh.

The recording was released in May 2008 by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office as part of nearly two weeks' worth of jailhouse calls between Hogan and his son, who was freed in October that year.

Its contents - which have apparently never been heard by the public before  - were reviewed again on Wednesday by Bay News 9  in the light of Hogan's widely-publicized racism controversy.

At the time of the jailhouse calls, Hogan's son was serving an eight-month prison sentence for his involvement in a car crash that left his friend, John Graziano, with permanent brain damage.

Bollea was drinking and speeding in his Toyota Supra sports car when he crashed into a palm tree in Clearwater on August 26, 2007, police said. Graziano, then 22, was a passenger in the vehicle.

Bollea: 'Brutal' [They both laugh]

Bollea: 'It's down in St. Pete and it's mixed-race and we get along with everybody, so that's fine.'

Hogan: 'Your mom went there and said it was mainly blizz, you know what I'm sizz-aying?'

Bollea: 'Mm-hm.'

Hogan: 'And that some of the ladies there that, you know, run the school are nice blizz lizz-adies, you know?'

Bollea: 'Mm-hm.... I would go down there, I would make friends with all those kids down there. I guarantee it. Because you know how all the blizz pizz love us.'

Due to his injuries in the crash, Graziano will likely need 24-hour-a-day care for the rest of his life. Bollea, meanwhile, was released from hospital within days, with doctors saying he was 'OK'.

He was later imprisoned from May 9, 2008 until October 21, 2008.

In the newly-reviewed jailhouse conversation, Hogan speaks to his son, also known as Nick Hogan, about the possibility of him being transferred from Pinellas County Jail to a juvenile facility.

'It’s down in St. Pete and it's mixed-race and we get along with everybody, so that's fine,' says Bollea, 25, who appeared alongside his family in the reality TV show, Hogan Knows Best.

Hogan replies: "Your mom went there and said it was mainly blizz, you know what I'm sizz-aying?"

'Mm-hm,' Bollea responds.

Hogan, who divorced Bollea's mother, Linda, in 2007 and now has a new wife, Jennifer, says: 'And that some of the ladies there that, you know, run the school are nice blizz lizz-adies, you know?'

The jailhouse tape's reappearance comes just a day after Hogan took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support following his dismissal from World Wrestling Entertainment last Friday.

Hogan - who famously won two consecutive Royal Rumbles - told his huge 1.3million Twitter followers that he was 'overwhelmed by the love', and retweeted their messages of support.

But the former star -was then fooled into retweeting pictures of black British soccer players.

The 61-year-old father of two, who debuted in WWE in 1997, shared messages from a series of Twitter users he thought were genuine fans but were actually pranksters mocking him.

He first posted a picture from a Twitter account attached with an image of Liverpool and Ivorian defender Kolo Toure, saying 'I love you brother, you're not a racist, you are the best, don't let the media get to you!'

Hogan then unknowingly retweeted what he believed was a show of support from ex-England footballer Rio Ferdinand, posing next to Drake who is wearing a Manchester United hat.

He also retweeted messages from accounts with pictures of Everton and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, Efetobore Ambrose of Celtic and Nigeria and Arsenal team-mates Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck.

The recording over which Hogan was sacked is from leaked tapes at the center of a $100million libel case the wrestler brought against Gawker after the site posted a film of him having sex with the wife of his best friend, DJ Todd Allen Clem, who legally changed his name to Bubba the Love Sponge.

The audio features Hogan complaining about his daughter Brooke, then 20, who was trying to launch a music career, according to an investigation by Radar Online and The National Enquirer.

He apparently said that 'a black billionaire guy' had offered to bankroll her.

He then speculated about her sex life. Hogan apparently told Clem: 'I don't know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy's son... I mean, I don't have double standards.  I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n*****s. But then when it comes to nice people and s**t, and whatever.'

He continued: 'I mean, I'd rather if she was going to f*** some n*****, I'd rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!

'I guess we're all a little racist. F****ing n*****.'

Following the revelations, Hogan was fired and his references erased from the WWE website.

A statement from the organisation said: 'WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.'

The former wrestler, whose current wife is 21 years his junior, apologized for his comments, saying: 'It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it.

'This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise.'

In the glory days of 'Hulkamania', Hogan was a multiple winner of the WWE's top titles, as well as serving a successful stint in rival WCW.

He returned to the WWE last year for the fourth time after more than six years away from the organisation.

Hogan also won the Royal Rumble in 1990 and 1991, making him the first man to win it twice consecutively.
