Green juices, early morning ballet classes and running for miles: Lily Aldridge proves that a LOT of work is required to look as good as a Victoria's Secret Angel in candid fitness video diary

  • Model, 29, shared fitness diary with Vogue
  • Sees her sipping healthy juices and working out several times a day
  • Star does SoulCycle, boxing, ballet and reformer pilates

As a Victoria's Secret model, staying in shape is part of Lily Aldridge's job - so it's little surprise she tales her fitness regime seriously.

The lithe-limbed Angel, who has worked for the lingerie giant since 2009, has shared a candid insight into her health and fitness regime in the run up to the show - and it's a lot more hardcore than you may think.

While many models credit their enviable figures with good genetics, mother-of-one Lily proves that it really does take a lot of hard work to look as good as she does.

The 29-year-old has shared her fitness video with Vogue.com - and she kicks off the day by whizzing up a berry smoothie to fuel her body for the intense workouts ahead.

She can then be seen heading to an early morning yoga class before making her way to a ballet class, which involves incorporating ballet moves and mat work for maximum toning.

The tanned and toned model can be seen attaching weights to her wrists and practicing her best plie -  all whilst staying hydrated with plenty of water.

The model then heads off to reformer pilates, where she pulls her body into all sorts of shapes whilst using a series of springs and pulleys to add resistance to her workout. The class is credited with creating long, lean muscles.

Following the class, Lily can be seen sipping on a virtuous green juice before heading to the supermarket to pick up some nuts, fresh fish and vegetables to make her lunch.

Lily - an accomplished chef - seasons her fish with pepper and squirts some lemon and orange juice over it before roasting it in the oven with some organic carrots.

The video also sees Lily going on mile-long runs round the block, through parks and up and down stairs.

Other forms of exercise come courtesy of SoulCycle - the spinning class loved by the Beckhams and Ramsays - as well as boxing sessions in her local gym.

She was first spotted by a scout at a school carnival, and two of her sisters are also models.
