She's currently in the US while her younger sister Khloé Kardashian enjoys a promotional tour of Australia.

But maintaining her ties Down Under, Kim Kardashian, 34, has caught up with her good friend, Vogue Australia's fashion director, Christine Centenera.

The pals met up in Los Angeles on Thursday and had some girls time, with Kim sharing a picture of the pair out and about.

The pregnant reality TV star captioned the Instagram post: 'When I'm missing Australia & Khloe's big trip, I meet up with my favorite Aussie girl @centenera in LA!,' followed by a koala emoticon.

Kim wears her long dark locks out behind her ears and wears carefully placed makeup for the outing.

The image also finds Kim sporting eyeliner and subtle contouring with bronzer, while finishing her look with a light gloss on her lips.

She wears what appears to be a plunging black top showing off her cleavage and a black blazer.

Christine meanwhile, shows off her shoulders in a spaghetti strap black top.

She also has her eyes made up, with heavy eyeliner and a light, neutral, lipstick, while her hair is worn in tousled waves.

Earlier this month the pair were spotted enjoying dinner at Craig's in Los Angeles.

Khloe Kardashian shows off tummy in keyhole dress in Sydney

The pair have worked together before for Kim's shoot with Vogue Australia that was published earlier this year, and were introduced through Kanye West, who worked with Christine on his Spring Summer 2012 New York Fashion Week show.

Kim and Kanye have been married since in May 2014.

Earlier this year, Kim labelled Christine to Dailymail.com as a style icon. 'I like when someone's really put together but looks effortless,' she said.

Sister Khloe, meanwhile, is in Australia to launch Kardashian Kids in Big W stores.

Khloe Kardashian was a vision in khaki in Australia today.

This military inspired shade has been a major force to be reckoned with this season with designers like Marc Jacobs, Acne Studios, Gucci and Victoria Beckham all sending army green down their runways.

Khloe is rocking a dress from her own Kardashian Kollection and we're feeling that wrap effect front and midriff cut out, as well as the clingy bodycon cut.

Sadly, the Kardashian Kollection is no longer available in the US but those lucky Aussies are still able to buy it by clicking right.
