She grew up deep in the South in Kentwood, Louisiana. And it looks like Britney Spears is still a country girl at heart.

While stepping out for lunch at Brent's Deli in the Westlake Village neighborhood of California on Friday, the 33-year-old singer modeled a cowboy hat that looked like it was left over from the wardrobe department of TV's Dallas.

The Toxic hit maker also had on a suggestive pink T-shirt that said on the front, SweeTarts, Bite Em.

The blonde beauty also had on short beige shorts and platform blue heels that nicely showed off her right foot tattoos.

The star, who is on a break from her Planet Hollywood show Pieces Of Me, also had on gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses and a touch of mauve lipstick.

Her blonde locks, which were purple dipped, were pulled back into a ponytail.

The Crossroads actress was seen holding the hand of her eldest son Sean Preston, aged nine.

Sean was also working his casual look with a statement T-shirt that had a picture of a lion on the front in red and blue sunglasses.

The shirt could have been a nod to Cecil the lion who was killed in Zimbabwe by an North American dentist.

The tween put on a grey RVCA hat over his locks which looked like they had been newly cut. His blonde tresses were long in the front and shaved on the sides.

During that outing she had on a ripped shirt and pink polka dot shorts.

Spears has recently returned from a trip to Maui, Hawaii, where she showed off her impressive bikini body while in a pool with her sons - she also has Jayden James, aged eight.

The ex-wife of Kevin Federline also was seen doing yoga on the beach.

At one point she lifted her legs up and later she did the splits.

This is not the first time Spears has been seen since coming back from Hawaii.

On Thursday the Britney Jean chart topper was spotted heading into a Home Depot in LA.

The star had on a fashionable white top with a long turquoise necklace and tight washed jeans with platforms.

The Femme Fatale singer will be back at the AXIS Theater in Las Vegas on August 5. She has dozens of dates set until December 31. On January 20, Jennifer Lopez, 46, takes over.

Spears is also expected to be at the Teen Choice Awards in LA on August 16.
