She has graced various international runways with her presence.

But now Shanina Shaik will be working with a brand that is closer to home, and also her heart.

The Daily Telegraph revealed on Saturday that the 24-year-old has signed on as the new face of Australian footwear label, Tony Bianco.

The Australian Victoria’s Secret star told the publication that she has been a huge fan of the brand for some time.

‘I’m a huge fan, every time I come home to Australia I go to the store or go online and I usually just stock up on everything I want,’ she said.

Shanina’s social media accounts are also heavily flooded with images of the model clad in the brand’s signature footwear.

The label’s founder and CEO Anthony Bianco, has attributed the growth of Tony Bianco sales in the US, which have increased by 200 per cent, to Australian models such as Shanina and Nicole Trunfio wearing the designs to red carpet events.

In particular, its thigh-high lace-up boots which remain one of the brand’s top sellers.

The Make Me A Supermodel runner-up will appear in the brand's summer campaign launching this month, which Mr Bianco says will be strongly influenced by seventies aesthetics.

The announcement for Shanina to front the latest campaign comes as the label expands its store network, with boutiques set to open at Bondi Junction and Chatswood in coming months.

Shanina is the latest in a celebrity offering in a string of names to front the label, including Jodi Anasta and Bambi Northwood-Blyth.

And it's not at all hard to see why the Australian footwear designer has chosen her as their muse.

The exotic beauty has a unique and striking look thanks to her Lithuanian, Australian, Pakistani and Saudi Arabian heritage.

Currently in LA for work and play, Shanina is dating DJ Ruckus, whose real name Greg Andrews.

She and DJ Ruckus were seen packing on the PDA in New York in June, and have essentially confirmed their relationship through cosy social media snaps.

The West Australian beauty previously dated fellow model Tyson Beckford on-and-off from 2008 until earlier this year.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday night, Shanina's good friend and Sydney Swans player Tom Derickx said 'she's really happy with that bloke over there.'
