Bourne would know how to deal with it! Matt Damon chased for a selfie by an over-zealous fan after dinner date with his wife

She obviously couldn't believe her luck.

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso were followed by a fan who spotted them leaving Toca Madera restaurant in West Hollywood on Friday evening.

Smiling wildly, the young woman ran up behind the 44-year-old actor and, holding her cell phone high above his head, she grabbed a quick selfie with him.

If he noticed what had just happened, the Bourne star didn't show it. He smiled as he held 39-year-old Luciano's hand as they walked back to their car.

Matt is already getting into shape for the next, as-yet-unnamed installment of the action franchise in which he plays Jason Bourne, due out on July 29, 2016.

He looked noticeably lighter than of late in a black T-shirt, faded black jeans and black shoes.

Luciana looked flawless in a little white top with images of grey and black leaves and spaghetti straps, which she teamed with black, skin-tight, cropped trousers and cream sandals. Her luxuriant brunette tresses cascaded over her shoulders. 

Damon met Luciana, who hails from Argentina, in April 2003 while filming Stuck On You in Miami. 

They became engaged in September 2005 and tied the knot in a civil ceremony on December 9, 2005, at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau.

The couple share daughters Isabella, nine, Gia, seven, and five-year-old Stella.

Aside from the Bourne project, Matt and his pal Ben Affleck are in negotiations to produce a movie about the high-profile FIFA soccer scandal, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Warner Bros. has acquired the rights for Houses Of Deceit, an upcoming book by BuzzFeed investigative reporter Ken Bensinger, following an eight-day bidding war. 

Matt will next be seen in The Martian, due out on October 2, about an astronaut caught in a fierce storm on Mars who is presumed dead and left behind on the planet by his crew.
