We aren't the only ones who are boot-obsessed. Right before stepping out to dinner in California on Friday night, LeAnn boasted on Instagram that she was breaking in her brand new Chloe boots on the hottest day of the year.

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Like us, the country singer certainly felt it was worth getting overheated rocking these babies. They're a gorgeous shade of chocolate brown, suede and over-the-knee. What's not to love? We'd be wearing them out on dog days, too!

LeAnn paired them with a border print dropwaist tunic by Free People, the boho line that we find often on Taylor Swift and her pal Gigi Hadid. She added a leather bag, a handful of necklaces, barely made up her face, left her locks loose and headed out the door.

Earlier in the day, LeAnn could not help but show off her new footwear posting an Instagram snap of herself trying them on, despite it being a very hot day in Los Angeles.

She captioned the snap: 'Boot Obsession! #chloe Of course I choose to break these out on the hottest day of the year. #toohotnotto #punintended #thighhigh.'

But they were certainly worth getting hot and bothered for as the star looked great as strutted along in her brand new Chloe boots which matched perfectly with her hippie chic dress by Free People.

The patterned frock hung loosely on her small frame and showed just a hint of leg as the couple headed to dinner at Il Segreto.

Keeping with her designer boho look, the Blue star added a tan handbag with leather stitching and long layered necklaces with shark tooth shaped pendants.

LeAnn's hair also stuck to the theme, with her locks left out and flowing as if just air dried.

Eddie meanwhile kept it simple wearing grey green pants with a thin white knit top and a pair of slip on sneakers.

The couple walked along to the restaurant holding hands and smiling, no doubt excited to have time together before LeAnn heads on tour.

But the evening was far from a date, as it was actually a birthday celebration for their friend jewellery designer Roger Canevari.

Captioning the fun night, LeAnn posted a snap on Instagram of herself, the birthday boy and their pal Lizzy.

The fun dinner came ahead of a busy weekend for the star, as on Friday she jetted off east for a trio of concerts playing at the Hollywood Casino in Charles Town, West Virginia on Friday, the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut on Saturday, and Caesars in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sunday.

The shows are just the star of her tour which sees her play dates across the country up until December.
