Nicole Kidman looks polished in a sophisticated skirt suit as she gets to work on new filming project in London

Nicole Kidman may have only arrived in London two days ago, but the moviestar is already getting to work.

The 48-year-old actress, who brought along her two sweet daughters for the transatlantic trip, arrived on set in Park Lane on Saturday, beaming at the prospect of filming.

She cut a sophisticated figure in a navy skirt suit, quite in keeping with one of the British capital's most prestigious areas of town.

Naomi showed off a lighter tinge to her tresses, much distinguished from her familiar auburn style, and wore them tucked under at the nape in a long bob style.

Despite the balmy climate, the Australian beauty wore a roll neck jumper that matched her elegant ensemble, that featured gold buttons down the middle and sleeve.

On her feet, the stylish star picked out a low heel, not needing any more extension for her statuesque form and accentuated her legs with a dainty ankle strap.

Naomi was all too keen to pose for pictures when she was spotted in the affluent district and her wide smile was testament to her love of acting.

It was originally thought that Nicole was arriving in London from Los Angeles for a break with Sunday Rose, seven, and four-year-old Faith.

But Nicole, who already has Queen of the Desert, Strangerland, Genius and Secret In Their Eyes under her belt this year, was said to be glammed up for yet another film project.

She has only just been spotted filming Lion in her native Australia with Rooney Mara and Dev Patel but Nicole seems to be non-stop in 2015.

Among Nicole's many projects this year, she is also due to get to work on a TV series named Big Little Lies.

The dark comedy series has been commissioned by HBO and will see Nicole take on the role of actress and producer alongside Reese Witherspoon.
