While they haven't confirmed a romance, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell appear to be inseparable these days.

The duo stepped out for the third time this weekend, heading out for dinner and enjoying a sunset stroll in New York on Sunday.

Kate, 32, wore a black embellished shift dress with pastel pink suede flats and carried a chic box clutch.

Together again: Kate Mara was spotted out about about with Fantastic Four co-star and rumoured boyfriend Jamie Bell on Sunday

Her brunette pixie crop was immaculately styled and she wore dainty hoop earrings.

The natural beauty appeared to be wearing very little make-up.

It certainly appeared the duo were off to a glitzy event of some sort as British-born Jamie also looked handsomely groomed.

The Billy Elliot star teamed a white t-shirt with grey jeans and casual jacket while sporting a little stylish stubble.

Meanwhile, sources claimed several months ago that the actors are just pals.

'They are the very best of friends, longtime friends. Nothing more,' an insider told E! News in May.

Kate and Jamie star together in Fantastic Four and have recently been busy promoting the action flick.

Fantastic Four, which opens in US theatres on August 7, follows four young people who are transported to a strange and dangerous universe that alters their physical bodies in the most unusual ways.

The group must learn to develop their special powers to save Earth from a terrible enemy whom they once considered a friend.

Kate recalled the production as 'thrilling' in an interview with the August 2015 issue of Flare magazine.

'You do get that exciting, fantastical action-packed thrilling thing, but you also get the emotional and very real human part of who these [characters] are,' she said.

'The movie really is about family coming together and what lengths you would go to protect them.”

She continued: 'The movie is very intense, so the set was an intense environment. But because of our dynamic, there was a lot of joking around.

'When you’re having to emote a certain kind of energy and vibe all day, you need to joke around to let off some steam.'

Jamie plays Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing and Michael B. Jordan plays Johnny Storm while Miles Teller portrays Reed Richards.
