Reese Witherspoon brought a little country to Californian on Saturday as she stepped out in checks in Santa Monica.

The 39-year-old has been turning running for errands into a fashion show of late, no doubt to remind people of her stylish ways and encourage them to head to her new fashion site.

The Walk The Line actress headed out for a shopping trip in a pair of tight blue jeans that were cropped at the ankle with a blue and white checked short.

Showing off her slender waist, the star tied the shirt in a knot at the front.
