Salma Hayek and her daughter, Valentina Pinault, visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Friday.

While the 48-year-old did enjoy rides and entertainment with her seven-year-old daughter, she also took the opportunity to promote one of her own projects.

All of those in Salma's group wore T-shirts advertising The Prophet, the actress's soon-to-be-released animated film.

Her brown and curly hair mostly covered by a large, navy-blue hat, Salma wore a black version of the T-shirt with flared blue jeans and blue trainers.

Valentina, Salma's only child with husband Francois-Henri Pinault, opted for a white T-shirt with the movie's logo, worn with black leggings and multi-coloured trainers.

Just a few days earlier, on Wednesday, Salma and Valentina were both on-hand to attend the Los Angeles premiere of The Prophet.

Mixing business with pleasure: While the actress enjoyed some rides, she was there to promote new movie The Prophet

Based on the famed 1923 book by Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet also features voice work by Liam Neeson, John Krasinski, Quvenzhane Wallis, Alfred Molina, and Frank Langella.

Multiple directors were put in charge of various segments of the story, one of the most popular collections of poetry ever published.

For Salma, participating in the movie offered a chance to reconnect with memories of a Lebanese grandfather.

Prophet is her directorial debut so it was only right that Salma Hayek dressed the part for the movie's premiere. She really did mean business here on the red carpet donning this sophisticated wrap tuxedo dress and chunky sandals - talk about power dressing!

The wrap dress was the perfect design for Salma's curvaceous figure. It made the most of her ample assets yet nipped her in at the waist and the shoes really amped up the style.
