Brown died on July 26, six months after being found unresponsive and unconscious in a bath tub.

Arriving at the sad event, Grammy-winning artist Monica wore a black peplum jacket, slim pants and black-and-silver heels to pay her respects.

After Brown's death, Monica posted a touching tribute to the young woman on Instagram, writing: 'You kept telling me life wasn't the same without Mommy. In all this pain and every tear shed I find a small bit of peace knowing that your (sic) with her again....Krissy I will forever love U'.

Director Tyler Perry was at the funeral too, and escorted Bobbi Kristina's aunt Leolah Brown out of the service after she unleashed a tirade against Pat Houston.

Bobby Brown's sister Leolah was booted out of the church after interrupting the service and shouting out 'Whitney Houston will haunt Pat Houston from the grave', she told reporters.

Perry has been a longtime family friend and was a friend of Whitney Houston's before her tragic death in 2012.

The TV producer was spotted visiting Bobbi Kristina after she was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia last month.

The entertainment mogul reportedly offered the family his private jet to fly Bobbi Kristina's body back to New Jersey, where she will be buried beside her beloved mother.

Perry was somber as he exited the church after the service, standing alone and looking lost in thought.

Actor and martial artist Michael Jai White, who stars in one of Perry's TV shows, also attended the funeral.

A police motorcade escorted Bobbi Kristina to the church ahead of the invitation-only service, which began at 11am, and four men in black suits carried her coffin inside.

Three stretch limousines ferrying mourners to the funeral were escorted by eight police motorcycles, followed by a procession of dozens of cars.

Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby Brown and grandmother Cissy Houston were among other guests in attendance, but her boyfriend Nick Gordon was notably absent.

Brown and Houston both looked devastated as they exited the church after the chaotic service, surrounded by family and friends.

Gordon, who was the one to find Bobbi Kristina unconscious nearly six months ago, had pleaded with her father and aunt to allow him to attend the funeral, but he was told he was not welcome.

Security was tight at the church, with check points being manned by family personnel and Georgia State Troopers as scores of media and members of the public gathered outside.
