He has made a mistake - and he certainly knows it.

Scott Disick may be a party boy but he was not feeling like partying as he found himself alone at a wedding on Friday night.

The 32-year-old star was attending the nuptials of J.J. Corsini - ironically a long time Kardashian family friend - and Elizabeth Condon.

Missing someone? Scott Disick may be a party boy but he was not feeling like partying as he found himself alone at a wedding on Friday night, posting a picture of a place card which did not bear the name of his now ex Kourtney Kardashian

While the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star seemed to be enjoying himself at first, posing with the groom and speaking of his happiness, the fact his love Kourtney Kardashian was not be his side started to weigh on him as the night wore on.

The star snapped a picture of a place card from the reception that instead of bearing the name of his former girlfriend of nine years said generically 'Scott Disick Guest'.

A clearly forlorn Scott captioned the image: 'When u realize the grass isn't always greener.'

Serving as a bigger reminder of what he is missing out on since he and Kourtney split earlier this month, also on the table was a picture of the bride and groom looking infinity happy.

'A day at a time': Scott Disick on separation with Kourtney

Exactly why Scott and the mother of his three children - Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 7 months - split has not been officially revealed.

However, the pair's split came after pictures emerged of Scott partying with an ex girlfriend coupled with reports he may be struggling with substance abuse issues.

The wedding certainly did not give Scott a chance to forget about his troubles for a while either, as J.J. has been a fixture in the Kardashians' lives for decades so no doubt reminded him of Kourt.

The music producer grew up with Rob Kardashian and even spent the night with Kourtney once.

Back in 2009 while Scott and Kourtney were once again split up, J.J. guest starred on an episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, partying with Kourtney before sleeping over.

Kourt claimed nothing had happened between the pair despite Khloe finding them in bed together, however, it seems Scott does not hold any grunge.

While things seemed to go down hill for Scott at the reception, earlier in the day, Scott seemed generally happy to be spending the special day with J.J. and his bride.

The star posted a picture of him with his arm around J.J. with what appeared to be Santa Monica beach in the background.

Scott captioned the snap: 'At my best friends wedding couldn't be happier for @jjcorsini.'

Whether Kourtney or Rob attended the nuptials is not clear and, as the name on the place card suggested, even if Kourtney did she was sat far away from Scott.

Earlier on Friday, the 36-year-old was photographed with her sister Kendall Jenner also enjoying the Californian seaside, Kourt was not dressed for a wedding, however.

Rob, of course, is largely a recluse these days and even avoided sister Kim Kardashian's wedding last year.

J.J., a music manager, grew up with Rob and in the episode he appeared in - titled Kourt Gone Wild - Khloe described him as 'like a brother'.

Kourtney explained further on the episode: 'JJ. is my brother Rob's best friend, who we've known for, like, our entire lives.

'And I love J.J. He's so funny. He's witty, he's smart. He's just fun to be around.

'And I think J.J.'s had a crush on me since he was born.'
