Here's one we made pearlier: Downton's Lady Grantham wears necklace which has appeared on screen SIX times before
- The necklace was first worn in screen by Kate Beckinsale in 1996
- It has also been worn by comedian Jennifer Saunders and Hollywood star Julia Roberts, starring in Notting Hill
- The tiara worn by Lady Grantham has also appeared in The King's Speech
As the chatelaine of Downton Abbey, you wouldn't expect the Countess of Grantham to be seen wearing second-hand jewellery.
But it seems the Abbey's precarious finances have taken another turn for the worse, because the aristocrat's finest necklace has already made no fewer than six screen appearances.
Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted that Lady Grantham's pearl and rhinestone necklace has also been worn by other actresses including Julia Roberts in the hit British movie Notting Hill.

On the watch out: Eagle eyed viewers identified that Lady Grantham, played by Elizabeth McGovern (pictured), was not wearing a new piece of jewellery
Lady Grantham, played by Elizabeth McGovern, was first seen wearing the piece in the third series of the ITV drama in 2012.
But the item made its screen debut 16 years earlier when Kate Beckinsale played the eponymous heroine in ITV's adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma.
The jewellery was back on our screens a year later when Moira Redmond's character Nessy Forrester wore it in the ITV version of Catherine Cookson's The Wingless Bird.

In 1999 it was worn by Roberts as Anna Scott in Notting Hill. It also proved to be ideal for Jennifer Saunders, who portrayed scheming aristocrat Colombine, Comtesse de Vache, in the French revolutionary comedy Let Them Eat Cake.
The piece then made two separate appearances in the BBC drama The Aristrocrats.
Sian Phillips, who starred as Lady Emily Lennox, and Geraldine Somerville, who played a younger incarnation of the same character, are both seen sporting the necklace on screen.

That was its last appearance before it made its debut in Downton in 2012.
Beatrice Behlen, curator for fashion and decorative arts at the Museum of London, said: 'The necklace is used on screen so much because it doesn't look like a period piece. It looks like it's something that has been put together so it can be used for so many different eras.'
The history of the necklace has been tracked by fashion website recycledmoviecostumes.com, which also discovered that a tiara worn by Lady Grantham in last year's series had been used by Claire Bloom in the 2010 film The King's Speech.
