Coco Austin may have overreacted slightly when she learned she was pregnant - and she managed to terrify her husband, Ice-T, in the process.

'I ran downstairs. He was on the computer and I was bawling, screaming. He thought someone died,' Coco, 36, told People in an interview published on Friday.

Even when the 57-year-old rapper-turned-actor learned it was actually good news, he was 'just as surprised' as his wife.

Since it was revealed Coco Austin's pregnant more than a dozen years after she married Ice-T, all eyes have been on the voluptuous 36-year-old reality star of Ice loves Coco. Earlier this week, she made an appearance turned out in a red, sleeveless dress and a gorg pair of floral-printed pumps.

They announced their happy news on July 24, during a taping for their upcoming daytime talk show, Ice & Coco.

Ice-T confirmed the pregnancy on Twitter later that day: 'Oh s***! The news is out. YES. We're having a baby.'

'I was so thrown off that our pregnancy happened really fast,' Coco told People of the particulars. 'It happened out of the blue... I was told it was going to take a lot longer.'

First child: This will be the first baby for the couple, although Ice-T has two children from previous relationships

The mother-to-be has not revealed anything about the baby's sex or due date, but she did seem to be ecstatic about what was happening.

'You never think it could really happen to you - that you can actually make a human being - and when you do, you're like, wow!' Coco continued

'Your body takes over and does it itself. You're not putting the hands and feet together - your body's cooking it and it's amazing. It's a miracle how life can happen.'

The former swimsuit model insisted that pregnancy was already changing her: 'I'm so not like Coco from a year ago. I'm a totally different Coco.'

Despite suffering no morning sickness or other ill effects thus far, Coco said that she probably would not try for a second pregnancy: 'I've always planned on having one,' she said.

Keeping quiet: Ice-T and Coco have not yet revealed a due date or the sex of their baby

Married since New Year's Eve, 2001, this will be the first child for the couple, although Ice-T - real name Tracy Marrow - has two children from previous relationships.

Having fathered daughter LeTesha while still in high school in 1976, the Law & Order star also has two grandchildren - one of whom is 20 years old.

A later relationship with Darlene Ortiz produced a son in 1992, Ice Tracy Marrow.
