They're hailed as two of the most beautiful women in the world and besides being genetically blessed, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Kim Kardashian have the same woman to thank.

Indeed, the X Factor judge and the global reality TV star both call on Karin Darnell to beautify them for big events.

Cheryl has long worked with Karin on the X Factor and, perhaps a fan of Cheryl's flawless look, Kim called on Karin to treat her to a makeover during her recent trip to London with husband, Kanye West.

Karin, who also works with Alesha Dixon, Jessie J and Myleene Klass, kept fans up-to-date via her Instagram page, where she posted stunning snaps of Kim with the captions: 'Fabulous day with the amazing @kimkardashian today!'.

So how can Cheryl and Kim's fans emulate their look? According to Karin's social media updates, she loves slathering Creme De La Mer Reparative Skin Tint as a base on her clients' skin.

She also loves Guerlian eyeshadows, Givenchy Prisme Quatuor eyeshadows, Too Faced bronzer, Laura Mercier's Flawless Contouring Palette and bliss triple oxygen instant energizing eye masks. She also loves using L'Oreal products, particularly considering that Cheryl is the face of the brand.

Karin, who trained at the London College of Fashion, has worked on editorials for Vogue, Elle, and Vanity Fair, and campaigns for Burberry, Topshop and Marks & Spencer.

She has also worked with the Sugababes, Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, and singer Anastacia.

Sharing her top tips for achieving Cheryl's look with Yahoo! during last year's show, Karin suggested going one shade darker with your foundation and applying it with a flat foundation brush.

Despite Cheryl's healthy glow, Karin admitted that she didn't use bronzer and instead opted for a concealer two or three shades darker than the singer's skintone, which she patted under and on to cheekbones.

The beauty buff certainly uses products in unconventional ways. She applies bronzer on the chin to make lips look bigger, uses nude lipsticks as concealers, gold eyeshadow pencils as bronzers and white eyeliners as highlighters.

To beat Cheryl's bags and dark circles, Karin used Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Cream Stick, which she applied in a triangle shape under her eyes.

She also swore by applying lipstick before lipliner and to create Cheryl's full but natural brows, she useed a brown pencil from the bottom inner corner of the brow up to the top point, before filling the brows with eyeshadow.

Another one of Karin's tricks is to slather Benefit’s Bathina Body Balm on Cheryl's face and Scott Barnes Body Bling in Original over her skin to give her a bronzed glow.

Whilst Karin was on hand to beautify Kim for her trip to London, she is dedicating most of her time to her X Factor duties with Cheryl as the show gets underway.
