Who's that Joker? Suicide Squad star Jared Leto hides his character's green hair under baseball cap as he jets out of Canada

It would be rather disturbing to discover one was sharing an aisle with The Joker on a long distance flight.

So hopefully Jared Leto was able to resist the temptation to stay in character as he jetted out of Canada on Saturday.

The actor's green hair was clearly visible underneath his baseball cap as he sauntered through the departure lounge as he got ready to leave Toronto after another spell of forthcoming DC Comics spin-off The Suicide Squad.

Jared, 43, looked as cool as ever in a blue T-shirt, grey tracksuit trousers, and chequered patterned trainers.

His co-star Jai Courtney, who is playing fellow Squad member Captain Boomerang, recently said Jared has been indulging in method acting and staying in character even when they are not filming.

The Aussie hunk told MTV while promoting Terminator: Genisys: 'I don’t know how you measure that these days. I haven’t seen him, since we started working, out-of-character, let’s put it that way.'

He also insisted that the Dallas Buyers Club star has the chops to live-up to Heath Ledger's now famous turn as the iconic Batman villain.

He said: 'I don’t think any of us are naïve to the pressure he’s under. It’s not something I've talked about with him, but I've seen him working and it’s cool man.'

The film, the latest cash-in on the big screen comic adaptation craze, is centred around a secret government agency who recruits imprisoned supervillains to perform missions swapped for clemency.

The film also stars Jai Courtney, Scott Eastwood, Joel Kinnaman, Common, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz.

Suicide Squad, directed by David Ayer, is set for release on 5 August of 2016.
