She may be one of the top-selling artists in the world.

But Rihanna still hasn't forgotten her roots.

The 27-year-old singer - born Robyn Rihanna Fenty - was back in her native Barbados as she took part in the Foreday Morning Jump Up party on the Caribbean Island on Saturday.

The A-lister proved that she wasn't afraid to get down and dirty as she ended up being covered in paint as she celebrated during the harvest festival.

Rihanna never looked more than happy to be so messy as she beamed while holding onto a paint gun while coated in several colours including yellow, red and purple.

She was dressed comfortably for the occasiuon as she sported a black vest along with Daisy Dukes and black sneakers.

Steal Rihanna's style in a pair of Levi's cut off shorts

Rihanna got down and dirty when she visited her native Barbados for the Foreday Morning Jump Up party.

The BBHMM singer wore a tank top that was tied up to expose her taut abs and a pair of tiny Levi's cut off shorts to the event. We love a good pair of frayed denim and bonus points for the stylish exposed pockets.

Rihanna's custom daisy dukes are not available to purchase but these picks from Wildfox, NSF, Ralph Lauren and Siwy Denim will help you emulate her look.

Or cut up an old pair of jeans and make your own! Team with a crop top and sneakers and you'll be ready to roll.

Her curly brunette tresses were worn down flowing over her shoulders as she sported complimentary make-up along with the paint.

The Pour It Up hitmaker was part of a celebratory parade as she threw paint all over the attendees who were there partying the day away.

It is one of the many crop over events of the season as they celebrate the harvest with singing, dancing and competitions.

She grew up in the city of Bridgetown, Barbados before signing her six-album record deal with Def Jam in February 2005.

No doubt she is enjoying her homecoming as she shared a saucy new photograph from the trip on her Instagram Friday.

Rihanna was dripping with gold in a saucy new photograph showing her relaxing in a barely-there bikini top on a sunlounger in Barbados.

While she teasingly captioned the image simply, 'errthang,' the Charlie by Matthew Zink official Instagram page revealed she was wearing one of the firm's yellow grecian coin bikinis as she enjoyed the charming locales of her native island.
