But on Tuesday, Lena Dunham was seen making a stylish arrival at Narita International Airport in Chiba, Japan.

The 29-year-old kept it simple, yet, chic in a blue and white kaftan style shirt, which was teamed with a ripped pair of denim jeans.

Turning heads as she passed by, the American star stood comfortable in a trendy set of trainers while allowing her natural beauty to shine with minimal makeup.

She appeared to be in content and relaxed spirits as she made her way along the terminals, toting two large suitcases and a black satchel.

Ahead of her flight, Lena – who is dating Jack Antonoff - took to her social media sites to share a snap.

‘Taking off for Japan in my Stone Pony hat care of @jackantonoff,’ she captioned the picture. ‘Half my suitcase is empty to load with trinkets for my girls, all my heart is full because THIS IS MY JOB! Sayonara.’

Over the weekend, the much-loved actress attended the Pink Sunset Cocktail party, which was held in Bridgehampton, for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation benefit.

She looked striking in a billowing fuschia and orange sleeveless dress, which was styled further with silk pink heels, complete with unusual pom-pom detailing.

The annual fundraiser - in which Gwyneth Paltrow was also in attendance – saw Lena take part in a paddle board race held at the Hamptons.

The popular star posted a picture of her at sea with the funny caption: 'It's hard to tell from this blurry shot, but this is an image of Laird Hamilton coming to save me.'

She continued: 'He is literally King Triton and as I struggled to complete BCRF's Paddle for Pink (an amazing event to support breast cancer research) he appeared as if from the ocean's depths and guided me to the finish line.'

Later adding: 'I kept screaming "will I make it?!" like we were in a disaster movie. He said "yes, Lena, we will." Ladies, there are still a few heroes we can count on... #ThankYouLaird #paddleforpink #3miles.'
