He is one of Hollywood's hardest men so it is imperative he keeps in shape and he insists on maintaining his unique style while doing so.

As Mickey Rourke stepped out in Beverly Hills, California on Monday he exhibited both his toned physique and kooky style.

The 62-year-old Sin City star sported a pair of blue goggle style sunglasses and a matching navy bandana to tie back his coiffed grey locks.

The veteran actor was all smiles, when he showed a glimmer of his gold tooth, as he stepped out in camouflage cargo pants, a speckled grey hoodie and white trainers.

Mickey gave passers by a glimpse of his heavily tattooed chest, as he opted not to wear a top under his casual hoodie.

He added some A-List glamour to the look by toting a Louis Vuitton wash bag alongside his favoured oversized 96oz Hydro Jug, to quench his thirst at the gym.

The top featured a picture of Marlon Brando with Spanish script emblazoned across which featured an expletive-filled rant aimed at Trump.

Mickey is preparing for the release of his forthcoming World War II movie War Pigs, next month.

His co-star Dolph Lundgren opened up about his hard partying with Mickey in their 1980s heyday.

He tells Yahoo!: 'I know him mostly from the '80s way back... From the '80s I just remember we used to go out to the Roxbury [club in Hollywood] back then together.'

Mickey plays the lead role of World War I veteran Major A.J. Redding in the action movie about a group of army misfits who strive to take on the Nazis.

The movie is the second time Dolph and Mickey have collaborated, after starring in 2010 blockbuster The Expendables together.
