Hitting the right notes: Alexandra Burke shows off her assets in silver sheer top as she heads to recording studio

She's currently on a tour of the UK with the stage adaptation of The Bodyguard - but Alexandra Burke has been busy in the recording studio whenever she gets the time off. 

The 26-year-old was dressed to impress for the outing wearing a glitzy sheer top which showed off her assets as she stood outside the Wise Buddah Studios in London on Tuesday.

She wore a modest black top underneath the metallic number, showing off her slim physique in a pair of black leggings.

Giving her look some extra inches in the height department, the raven-haired beauty wore a studded pair of Christian Louboutin heels with their trademark red soles. 

Accessorizing with a series of gold bangles, the lovely lady smiled from cameras as she prepared to make her way inside the venue. 

The outing comes as Alexandra released her new EP Renegade, along with a black and white accompanying video.

She tweeted: 'Ain't That Right! A track taken from my EP #Renegade which you can download for free here: http://smarturl.it/ABRenegadeEP.' 

Her good friend and fellow artist Wretch 32 also showed his support for the singer, when he wrote: 'Check Out @alexandramusic new EP. #RenegadeEP.' 

Alexandra is balancing her work in the stage adaptation of Mick Jackson's 1992 film, in which plays the lead role, Rachel Marron, with her new musical projects.

The X Factor alum told Digital Spy that her fans can look forward to a whole new, rockier, sound in the collection, which is her first music release since 2013's EP #NewRules.

'Slash was a massive inspiration. Of course there was Whitney, Coldplay… 

'I just wanted to mix sounds together, and make sure people still heard my voice without the production overpowering my voice,' she explained.
