'It's not a kommercial!' Company behind $47 'butt-enhancement' cream endorsed by Kylie Jenner slams rumors that it paid the 17-year-old to promote the product

  • Kylie posted a snap last week with Pure Leef creams, saying she uses the products to 'maintain and accentuate my curves'
  • Many people pointed to the language of the post - which seemed ripped from an advertisement - as proof that Kylie was paid by the company
  • Now Pure Leef has released a statement insisting that it never paid Kylie

Sometimes, Kylie Jenner endorses a product for free, just because she likes it - or so says Pure Leef, the company behind a curve-enhancing cream that the reality star plugged on social media last week.

Last week, the 17-year-old shared an image on her Instagram account showcasing her chest and derriere, alongside two containers of Pure Leef body creams. Kylie raved that she loves their products and uses them to keep her own figure looking great.

However, after fans questioned Kylie's sincerity and pointed out that the stiff language made it seem like a sponsored post, Pure Leef hit back, telling TMZ that it never paid the youngest Jenner for her support.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star first shared her 'beauty secrets' with her Twitter and Instagram followers on Friday, confessing that she uses special lotions - made by Pure Leef - to give her a little boost in the curves department.

The teen star posted a snap showing off her cleavage in a low-cut top, and a shot of her pert behind in tight leggings, writing: 'I love sharing my beauty secrets with you guys and this is a favorite! @PureLeef offers products with All Natural ingredients (which is important to me) to help maintain & accentuate your curves!

The photo has since garnered over a million likes and 189,000 comments on Instagram, and has been favorited over 10,000 times on Twitter.

However, not everyone who saw the plug was so quick to take Kylie's word that she actually uses the cream to improve her own figure; many people speculated that she was been paid by Pure Leef to share the snaps and claim she used their products.

The real deal? The 17-year-old claimed she 'started seeing results after only a month of consistent use', using ad-like language that prompted many to believe her post was sponsored

She wouldn't be the first celebrity to use sponsorship to earn cash on social media. Some stars - including Kylie's own Kardashian sisters - earn thousands of dollars for tweets, paid to them by brands who want access to their millions of followers.

But Pure Leef has insisted that it didn't give Kylie money for the ringing endorsement of its $47 butt enhancement cream and $49 breast plumping lotion, implying that she chose to share her love of the brand on her own.

TMZ points out that it is unclear whether the brand managed to reward Kylie in another way, perhaps by paying someone else in the Kardashian clan.

Some of Kylie's followers also voiced doubt that her only tools for enhancing her curves have been these creams, suggesting that she's actually had plastic surgery to get a fuller figure.

'Get real! No one is buying that. Just like your "lip make-up trick" before,' wrote one of her followers, referring to the time when Kylie claimed that she used only lipliner to make her pout look bigger - before later admitting that she'd had work done.

Another chastised her for misleading her fans, writing: 'I love her and I think she looks hot as hell. But you should be real. If you are getting surgeries to look good then you should be honest. And not make teens think they can get like that with makeup and cream.'

Kylie's post comes after she denied reports that she has had breast implants. Rumours began circulating about the reality star's appearance after she showed off cleavage at a number of events.

But the underage star posted a video on Snapchat in June denying she's had any work done. Instead, she claims her ample cleavage is all down to a much cheaper and far less invasive remedy.

'To whoever thinks I had breast implants, there’s a whole lot of tape in here holding these up,' she insists in the short clip before pulling aside her top to reveal some of the telltale tape stuck to her left breast.

And t wasn't the first time the teenager has come out in denying she has had any body augmentation. In May, she finally came clean and admitted to having lip fillers, having denied the same for more than a year.

It was during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she finally made the admission.

'I have had temporary lip fillers,' she said. 'It's just something that I wanted to do.'

She insisted at the time that she 'wasn't ready' to talk directly to the press about the procedure and instead decided not to 'confirm or deny' it when asked by reporters.

In the same episode her sister Khloe Kardashian warned her that avoiding the question would make her 'look like a liar'.

Beforehand, the youngest Jenner continuously insisted her suddenly inflamed pout was merely a make-up trick, or that she was simply 'growing up'.

Plastic surgeons have spoken against having such procedures before the age of 21, as most girls have not finished growing.

Despite Kylie's continued denials, the rest of the world got in on the joke, prompting a short-lived social media craze called the Kylie Jenner Challenge, in which participants would suck their lips into shot glasses, often with horrifying results.
