The ladies fanned out their dresses as they posed together on a palm tree laden lawn.

Both women were coated in celebratory leis, affirming that the ceremony took on a Hawaiian theme.

And in another photo, a close-up selfie, Pierson wears a floral headdress atop her characteristic fire red locks as the newlyweds touch cheeks.

Other snaps shared over the weekend by the new wave songstress show her anticipation for the big day as she admired the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands.

A rep for Pierson told E! News: ‘The wedding was attended by the entire B-52s band, Sia Furler and husband Erik Anders Lang were the witnesses.

‘Sia performed the song she wrote for the couple “Crush Me With You Love” on Pierson's first solo album Guitars and Microphones and was accompanied by the famous Hawaii music group the Lim Family who serenaded the attendees during the event. Fred Schneider made the best man speech.’

In 1978 The B-52s shot to underground stardom with their first hit ‘Rock Lobster,’ which landed them frequent gigs at New York’s infamous CBGB.

After guitarist Ricky Wilson’s death in 1982, the other band members – Pierson, Fred Schneider, Cindy Wilson and Keith Strickland – continued making music and still do today.

The remaining members of The B-52s are currently touring alongside 1980s new wavers The Psychedelic Furs with a string of concerts at the Hollywood Bowl this fall.

And after years of playing in a band, Pierson has begun making music on her own.

The musician’s first solo record, Guitars And Microphones, was released earlier this year and is exclusively available at Barnes & Noble.

Originally a keyboardist, bassist and vocalist for The B-52s, the album features Pierson picking up the guitar and serenading her partner Monica.
