'I always hated my thin lips': Snooki reveals her new plumped up pout after injections

Snooki has revealed she has had lip fillers. 

The 27-year-old reality star proudly revealed the result of the injections with a pouty selfie on Tuesday. 

'It's just fabulous!' wrote Nicole 'Snooki' LaValle (nee Polizzi) in the caption that went along with the photo.

'I've always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the balls to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did,' the former Jersey Shore party girl continued.

'I was terrified to get my first "procedure" ever done, but it wasn't terrible at all! And I hate needles!'

Despite the lipstick and a pout, Snooki's lips looked natural and only slightly puffier than before.

Framed by pink-tinted waves of hair, the painted lips went along with mascara on Snooki's eyes.

Two hours before she posted the image of her new face, Snooki shared a photo taken with her doctor, plastic surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir.

'Welp I did it kids! Tried my first lip plumping and so doing more #noshame thanks doc for not killing me,' she joked.

While this was - as far as Snooki would admit - the star's first go-round with plastic surgery, she has indicated an interest in enhancements before.

'My boobs are disgusting. My boobs are hanging, my boobs got so big,' Snooki told Bethenny Frankel in 2013, after the birth of her first child.

'They just sag and it's like skin, so I am thinking of getting a boob job maybe,' she continued. 'I want to feel confident with my boobies and I don't.'

The diminutive party girl shot to fame in 2009 after she was cast in the first season of Jersey Shore.

After six seasons of drinking and silliness, Snooki moved on to Snooki & JWoww, a spinoff with friend Jennifer Farley.

The final season of that show aired this winter and spring on MTV.

Having somewhat transformed her image in recent years, Snooki married Jionni LaValle in 2014 and is the mother to two-year-old Lorenzo and 10-month-old Giovanna.

'Family is everything. sharing my beautiful vacation with my fam with you...I couldn't be happier to be blessed with these perfect nuggets,' she captioned a photo showing Snooki with the kids in the week before her surgery.
